We stopped and got a biscuit because the bike’s set up just looks so cool. I wasn’t even aware that the food was vegan until about half way through when I mentioned how much I liked the fresh herbs in the«blue cheese» sauce and my boyfriend clarified things for me. Big star for the cart’s set up and visual appeal. Big star for the food’s flavor and simple menu(though the biscuit could probably use another minute or so in the oven to be sure it heats all the way through). And a big star for a friendly, chatty owner.

It was a Sunday, I was hungover. PBR cans littered our backyard and strangers slept peacefully on our couch. I needed sustenance, and quickly. I had come across Kevin before, a dashing man intent on feeding not only my belly, but my soul. Kevins b&g saved me that day. Gravy good enough to bathe in… and I did. The biscuits were fresh and the kombucha cold. I poured one over my head to make sure that I wasn’t dreaming. Kevin smiled a smile of a man that knew something I didn’t, like what it’s like to see a perfect sunset, or maybe kill a man. Whatever it was, I knew right then where I’d be buyin’ my biscuits and gravy from that day forward. I suggest that you do the same.

Confession: I was skeptical I would enjoy Biscuits and Gravy done vegan. So, I can admit when I’m wrong, though it is rare. The adorable Biscuit Bike serves a simply delicious menu of starchy goodness in a bowl. I had the Blue Biscuit with vegan Blue Cheese on a «bacon» biscuit. First off, I would have had zero clue the tangy and creamy blue cheese gravy was vegan. I actually licked my bowl. The biscuit was nice and big and deliciously moist! The hubs got the Nacho biscuit which, to be frank, would be the perfect stoner snack. I had a quick taste of the Biscuit Bike Biscuit but would like to try it again to get a better review of the gravy. I also got a cup of the berry kombucha(on tap!!!), which was refreshing and a surprisingly complimentary drink with the biscuits. Well done, Biscuit Bike! This is def a new fave on my «cheap eats» roster.
