Ate here three times — for breakfast and dinners — and was truly impressed with the food. Really great combinations and smart flavors. Highly recommend.

We stayed at the hotel, so it was a convenient place to stop after walking around all day. We went twice — both during happy hour. The first day was good — good service and good french fries. The second day, not so much. Happy hour was booming, so they put us in a corner and then kind of forgot about us. The cheese curds were not good. The good thing — the beer was cold and cheap.

This is a great place to hang out and have a couple of drinks. They have a great drink menu, I suggest the Lumberjack(if you’re into whisky) or the dark + stormy a sweet concoction. The happy hour food menu offers fresh schucked oysters(I assume b/c I didn’t actually see it but it still had its natural juices when served.). Also try the fish n chips. Shit was bomb.

The restaurant had an awesome vibe. The dinner was fulfilling. We couldn’t wait to eat it completely… sadly unable to take a picture of our burgers. We loved the ice cream desserts. The pistachio was our favorite. We would recommend.

This place gets an A+ for décor and service. Our waitress was very accommodating to our large bachelorette group of girls. She even brought over the bride a special cocktail served in a fresh whole pineapple. Duck Sugo was just okay, not as flavorful as I imagined it to be. Their garlic fries were delicious.

Okay. Don’t come here if you’re a local. DO come here if you live at the hotel. Not sure what I was expecting, but was hoping this would be a good late night happy hour. The food IS good. But what are these ridiculous prices? The food portions are TINY. I’ve had hors d’oeuvres bigger than these duck wings and fish and chips. Nice service, horrible décor.

What a great restaurant. Had the vegan tomato based soup they had the most deletions fresh veggies. Also, HS spinach salad. So fresh. Friends had the Bison burger. Meat was so tender and delicious. Moderately priced. Very nice ambience. Loved it!

Wow, ran across this unassuming restaurant at the base of the Rose Hotel and stopped in for lunch during a business trip to grab a table by an open window with a view of the river park. Had the Curry Ravioli($ 14) and Bread Pudding($ 10). Holy moly! I was a bit taken aback at first because the raviolis are served in a bowl and there was only a thin green sauce. Not the curry I was expecting. The curry turned out to be in the ravioli. The greens, baby onions and porcini mushrooms on the top just added to the bursting flavor with just the right amount of heat. I was sad to see the last one leave my plate and enter my mouth. The bread pudding was expensive, and I was afraid it would be way more than I wanted. Wrong again. It was a nice portion size like a big muffin, crunchy on the top, soft and gooey in the middle, served in a pond of clear caramel glaze. What a nice surprise!

Great food, service, décor and vibe! My boyfriend and I got nice seats by the christmas tree and finally got to see some snow while enjoying some burgers. He got the classic burger, and I got the kitchen burger(Comes with a fried egg and onion/bacon marmalade). Both burgers comes with shoestring fries and a pickle. Very fair prices.

Great place for lunch! They were able to accommodate 11 of us for my ‘Welcome Lunch’ with my new company. Their lunch menu has different varieties to choose from. Food is yummy. Desserts are delicious and plenty to share. Service was great! I had their meatball sandwich and it was good. Looking at the menu again a year later, looks like they changed their menu. Time for me to go back and try new items!

Stayed at the Hotel Rose, our favorite Downtown Portland Hotel, on the waterfront, in the heart of everything, had the pleasure of dining at the Bottle and Kitchen, located in the hotel, absolutely fantastic Drinks, appetizers and meals, could not ask for more, a little crown on our favorite place!

When our group of 12 descended, the staff rose to the occasion. Our server was attentive, friendly, and patient with all of our questions. THe location right along the river was pretty at night, but Probably better dieting the day. The food was amazing — a great variety for all tastes and diets(when I made the reservation they even asked about allergies). Personal favorite of mine was the vegan curry ravioli.

Went for happy hour last week. Pretty good drink — had the Dancing Queen. Service was sloowww(they had a table of like 20 though so I’ll give ‘em that). $ 2 for one deviled egg, happy hour pricing? Mmmkay but that’s pushing it. Guess it is a hotel bar after all…

Went there on a day trip from Seattle. The restaurant is attached to a hotel, so it was kind of hard to find. But I got the bison burger and my husband got a kitchen burger. I loved my bison burger. It had grilled onions, white cheddar cheese and comes with string fries. It was very good and filling! What made us really enjoy was the grilled bacon oysters. Agh so good and unexpected. My husband loved them and he never cares for oysters. They were very good!

We enjoyed our burgers but with so many restaurants to enjoy & we have enjoyed in Portland, it’s nothing to rave about if you aren’t a guest at the hotel. –The food menu is very minimal –The ambiance feels like Portland meets Applebee’s

We ordered the Happy Hour bacon wrapped dates– phenom. The deviled eggs, and the porcini fries were thin, crispy, unique and super flavorful with a mushroom twang. Addicting. Pumpkin ravioli was sublime. Duck pasta was rich, fresh and delicious. Fairly priced. Great experience. Would def come back again. Margo the Asst. Manager who was covering for someone and happened to be on the floor tonight was pleasant, helpful and knowledgable. We sat in the bar and had drinks and food there looking on to Naito Pkwy waterfront.

Excellent spot for a fun and funky night out, especially with a big group. We loved the atmosphere and the delicious cocktail menu. I got the pork cheek entrée and it was absolutely amazing. The evening specialties were also a hit at the table. The venison was a little dry and the waiter returned it without a question– very accommodating.

We stopped by here late evening Friday night before going on the Portland Spirit for an evening cruise. The restaurant itself is beautiful I think, and we were surprised there were so few patrons dining. The bartender was kind and attentive, but the eatables were unfortunately quite«average.» My husband had a beer and I had the Rose Drop– a sweet and tasty little drink but absolutely NO «rose» flavor the speak of! For snacks we had the bacon-wrapped dates– these little darlings are truly as lovely as the other reviewers have written! Perfect balance of sweet and salty! But the flatbread(that night it was a beef and red onion topping) looked and tasted like it had just come out of a frozen container; bland flavor, under seasoned, and the beef was dry. No good. Also, little did we know we ended up ordering our snacks literally 5 minutes before the happy started(I only know now because I checked online after the fact) and the bartender said nothing and charged us full price. In my experience, servers are always good about sharing if you’re close to happy hour. Why offer it if you’re not going to «offer» it? In addition to that, my husband had paid cash for our drinks up front and still had a significant amount of change(equal to the cost of the drinks) sitting in the bill fold on the counter, and the bartender took it as tip before updating our bill. My husband said something and she quickly retrieved the cash without argument, but those two incidents together left us feeling a little taken advantage of :( We had 2 of the bacon-wrapped dates, so I gave them a star for each. The other food shots posted look delicious, but not sure if we’ll return again.

I was on the hotspot. As the Elite Unilocaler in my group, I was tasked with finding a good place to eat close to our client site. I pulled out my trusty phone, pulled open my Unilocal app and put my reputation into my fellow Unilocalers hands. Thank you my fellow Unilocalers, you made me proud. I received thumbs up from all of my colleagues on a great dinner choice. The menu is small, but you are sure to find something that will tickle your palate here. My choices of the bacon wrapped dates and a special with salmon were both excellent. One of my coworkers made the unfortunate mistake of letting us try her truffle fries… let’s just say we had to order a replacement because after the group got ahold of them there wasn’t much left! The ambiance was very fun with glittery floors and unique tables. This is in the hotel and it does have that hotel bar feel so just keep that in mind depending on the environment that you are looking to have dinner in. My only negative is that service was a little spotty. I had a couple moments where I would have liked to have had a new cocktail and the server wasn’t anywhere near. When he was available, he was very knowledgeable and his recommendations were spot on. Overall, I could see me returning here for happy hour while I am in town for business.

So wonderful! The menu was unreal — our jaws kept dropping as we heard about bacon-wrapped item after bacon-wrapped item. Cocktails were fabulous. Most unbelievable was the amazing service from Robby. He handled our 12-person table like a champ and couldn’t have been lovelier or more helpful. It was a delight to go to Bottle + Kitchen while in Portland. So many bacon-y appetizers, great cocktails, wine, entrees with duck, venison, amazing burgers and more. Thank you so much, Robby! An unforgettable meal.

We checked Bottle & Kitchen out for happy hour while staying at the Hotel Rose. We sat in the back in a light-filled room overlooking the street and park and it was great people watching. For happy hour, I got the deviled eggs and a smoked salmon flatbread. Friends also got the deviled eggs and the duck wings. We all ordered cocktails. My cocktail was good — I got the pineapple express which was made of Buffalo Trace, Caramelized Pineapple Purée, Amareno Cherries, Whiskey Bitters, Club Soda. It was very good– not too boozy, but tasty and the Amareno Cherries were an outstanding touch. I also got breakfast to go here — an omelette with home fries and toast — and it was great. At $ 14 it should be great though :) Happy hour service was good, though they forgot 2 items and had to go back to the kitchen to put them in again.

vibrant colors, lots of natural light in the bar and pretty visuals through the lounge. Happy Hour:] 4−6pm daily and all day SUNDAY! HH Foods:] although it is not a tower of items, most of everything we ordered was on point. –ordered the Porcini fries and eeek’d with pure excitement over the amount of truffle to the shuffle, I was in love! –the bacon wrapped dates were stuffed with a spicy chorizo for a sweet and spicy flavor. –the deviled eggs served were filled with a aioli and I will pass on these next time, they tasted very bland. overall a great place to have a few cocktails and their desserts look amazing, adult floats, yas! drinks:] a few beers on tap, but great house cocktails. I had the southbound, with tequila, lime, and pomegranate shrub, it was refreshing and pretty tasty at that! Honorable mention:] street metered parking available right outside of the restaurant, the Hotel Rose also offers 2 hours of free valet parking and there’s a smart park right on the corner. the location is actually really convenient, located parallel to the Morrison Bridge on ramp and right on Naito Parkway which runs the length of waterfront park.

Who knew a little restaurant attached to Hotel Rose would be good?! I have visited this restaurant twice and I have enjoyed the food and the service both times. Their food menu is small and limited, a lot of burger items. They also have a special cocktail menu as well as a good selection of wine. Even though the food menu is limited, it seems like no matter what we ordered the food is cooked to perfection. I had also ordered their specialty Rose(I can’t remember the name) drink and I truly like the sweetness of the drink and it was perfect after a hot day walking around downtown. I would definitely visit this restaurant again and I will bring more friends next time.

I had one of the best breakfasts of my life here! This restaurant is located in Hotel Rose, where we were staying for the weekend. We didn’t expect much as we were only eating at Bottle + Kitchen for the convenience. I ordered the breakfast sandwich, which is a perfectly cooked egg, lots of melty cheese, and crispy thick-cut bacon on a jalapeño cheddar biscuit. It came with well-seasoned, crispy potatoes too. Yum!

Had flat bread, fish and chips, bacon wrapped dates and a salad. We had some pineapple cocktails as well. Overall, decent meal. The bacon wrapped dates were a perfect sweet/savoury addition. The fish was a little bit of a let down, lacking flavour and texture. Cocktails are great, and ordering during happy hour made it pretty affordable.

Great atmosphere for after-work or pre-Blazer game. Food is really good, a bit upscale. They have some really fun cocktails. Happy Hour between 4 and 6, with a good selection of food. Bacon wrapped dates, porcini salt and truffle oil fries, pork taco, burger, daily sausage and $ 5 wines and Oregon Draft Beers. If you are looking for a nice quiet spot with Good drinks and food this a nice gem of a place.
