Friendly & with a wide choice of gift items to choose from. A perfect place to pick up a small inexpensive, but tasteful gift & a good card to accompany it.

I love that you can get gently used cards here including birthday and wedding for 1.25. They sit outside the store in a shoe box. They recently expanded to double their store taking the place of Fuschia which has since moved up the street. There are some unique gift items here although expensive. Also, I hate you can’t use a card without charging $ 10. Twice now this has happened to me and I am scrounging around in the used card section to get my til up.

After buying Branches from Kayleen, owner Molly has done some rearranging and brought in new merchandise. Happily, it’s still a fabulous shop! Every kind of greeting card you could possibly want, intriguing gifts, gorgeous wrapping paper — such fun to browse through.

I’ve been buying gifts and cards from Branches for more than two decades, first when Carol owned the store, and then from when Kayleen bought it from her. Why? Because I find great cards and some very surprising and fun gifts every time I go in.
First of all, the cards: They’re for every possible occasion, and they range from cards that are artistic, unique and very special — practically a gift in itself — to cards that are funny, provocative, even raunchy. Whoever you are buying for, you will find something just right.
Then there are the gifts. For such a small store, it’s amazing what you can find here: jewelry, incense, clothing, pretty & interesting refrigerator magnets, calendars, scarves, shirts, lovely journal books, boxes, candles, soaps… really, the more you look around, the more you see. I’ve found gifts in here for people who are really difficult to shop for, and things for myself, too ;-)
Then there are the beautiful handmade papers that not only make any gift special, but are great for craft projects.
Add to all this the fact that Kayleen is warm, kind, friendly, funny and very helpful. You’ll have a good time shopping at Branches, and you’ll want to come back.
