Broadmoor has a nice layout that has a little bit of everything, hills, water, sand traps, which unfortunately also includes some not so well maintained holes in the course. I have come here a few times, mostly because it’s so close into Portland and very close to my home. This is a pretty low key course, you’re not gonna get hassled by people for wearing the wrong attire but you’re also not going to be enamored by your golf experience here with the highway (Columbia) so close by and planes practically landing on top of your head. All in all, it’s a good spot for the beginners and non serious players and it’s fairly inexpensive. I’ll definitely go back again but mostly out of convenience for me.

Just finished a ½ round at Broadmoor. Half a round because the pace of play was so painfully slow I left after 9 holes. Played on a Saturday around noon and seemed to be a lot of guys from the men’s club and/​or were familiar with the course so hard to understand why this was trending to more than a 5 hour round. Probably because the first two holes are essentially par 3s and so takes awhile to stretch out the groups. Course conditions were poor as the course was dried out due to the drought. I’d consider coming out again after it rains and the course greens up a bit. More likely, I’ll pay the extra $ 6 and play access the freeway at Heron Lakes.

Played here for a family reunion. Very hilly course, wouldn’t want to walk it. A lot of downed trees when we were there (wind storm?). Fairways were a bit on the brown side. Challenging course for my family’s playing level. Loved the sweet boxer at the snack shack. 3 star because of the lack of a driving range.

I love this course.
We have a small class reunion tournament here every year. Some years it’s just three groups. Way too small for other courses to deal with. But, the folks at Broadmoor treat us like we’re here with a huge tournament. Good folks, a good, challenging course, lots of fun.

I can’t speak about the actual golf course, but I’ve been here for meals a few times with family members, and the food is great for the price. I like their club sandwich, but it’s their halibut dishes that really shine. For under $ 15, you can get a halibut fish and chips with HUGE pieces of halibut. There’s also a halibut sandwich and a halibut caesar salad (yum!) for close to the same price. My mother-​in-​law ordered that salad today, and it had a piece of fish the size of an extra large chicken breast, cooked to perfection. It’s a great deal!

What’s not to like? Nice course, nice people great rates. Lots of water so bring a few extra balls. Weird #10 with a ladies green on one side of the water and a men’s green across the water. All in all, not too tough, not too easy.

Fair to good city course. I enjoy mixing it up and playing here and at Colwood National. Played just the other day and it was in fine shape. Few little dry spots in the fairway, otherwise greens were well kept.
I walked on in the afternoon $ 16 for just 9. Although if you go before 8a -$ 16 for 18 holes a good deal if you can get out early.
I was on my own and the cashier said I could go off 1 or 10. Wasn’t too busy out there. The marshal was weird when he saw I was by myself. I didn’t hit a great first tee, then he warned me that ‘couple of pretty good golfers were coming up 9′…like what? Watch out, you might have to either pair up with or keep up with ‘good golfers’…kind of a jerky thing, but I continued like I didn’t hear him.
I like that their snack shack intersects with many holes, giving you a chance to quench your thirst.
Also, I don’t like that the front nine has 3 (tough) par 5s in a row.
Good Food here ! A nice plus, some folks just come here for Brekky or Lunch. Great food on Columbia Boulevard.

Great little golf course. Not to expensive and kept up well.
I think I actually eat in the restaurant more than I golf here. On Friday’s for lunch they do a prime rib buffet. It’s pretty damn good. They also do various other types of buffets throughout the week.
Breakfast is a busy time here too. Good food and really reasonable prices.

The course was in good shape. I was surprised at how well the greens rolled. The staff was friendly and the price was great. Will definitely return.

I did not come here to play golf, rather I came here for the Friday all you can eat prime rib lunch. Man oh man is this a nice treat. Show up with your plate, have a salad of a couple different varieties and then slap on the meat. Again, the best part is you can just keep on going up until you can eat no more.

I haven’t had any bad experiences with Broadmoor like the other reviewer. Keep your receipt though since you’ll have to show it to the «marshal» in the hut after the second hole. It’s an ideal course to play after work to play nine because it’s cheap and it’s pretty well maintained. The back nine is pretty narrow, though, and seems like you have no wiggle room for slices or hooks. You get what you pay for, and it’s definitely a course I play regularly.

I recently played Broadmoor and I was pleasantly surprised with my experience. I must say that I wasn’t expecting too much by the looks of the parking lot and the clubhouse. This course was very well maintained and in good overall condition, especially considering that it only cost about $ 28 to play 18. Only in Oregon can you play such a nice course for under $ 30. The greens and tee boxes were in especially good condition, but some of the sand traps could benefit from improved drainage and maintenance. This course has beautiful scenery. I didn’t get the pretentious vibe that the previous poster did.
