I live nearby and took my car here out of convenience after being rear ended. The mechanics were super helpful and took my car in about 5 mins before closing on a Friday — bonus points! The car was in the shop for about 5 business days and it looks AMAZING! Jeff called me with updates and was thorough and transparent throughout the process. Hopefully never have to go back, but would recommend to anyone who has been in a accident and needs repairs. Thanks!

I cannot express how good the customer service is here. You know exactly what you’re getting with Marc. He goes out of his way to make things work for you. Jeff does too! They are competent, honest, and great to work with.

We were familiar with the owner Marc even before he left another shop to open up his own place and, though I should probably clam up (they’re busy as it is), I must confess we have found him to be straightforward, knowledgeable, and dedicated to quality above all. Our beloved Vanagon Westfalia is currently there for a new paint job and a bit of rust repair. It’s no cheap Maaco quickie job, but that’s not what we were looking for. We fully trust them with our baby and we can’t wait to see her new look!

Love these guys! Mark and crew were absolutely phenomenal. I brought my 87 landcruiser in for them to take out a very minor dent and things didn’t go as smoothly as anticipated. there is some hard to find very flimsy chrome trim that goes around the glass on these trucks… Mark was able to find new trim and spent extra time and effort to replace the trim that got mucked up on the initial glass removal. Mark knocked quite a bit off my final bill and I am sure that he probably lost money on me. But what amazing customer service. All I can say is that I have rarely had this level of attention to detail, customer service and quality of service anywhere… at any kind of business. Mark has the best philosophy for a business owner to have. do quality work and make the customer happy. Highly recommend these guys!

Marc is awesome. He basically gave my car an ocular patdown for free. It was hit by some dumb idiot and he showed me what was simply cosmetic and what was necessary. I’m going to bring him a free case of beer for the time. Seriously Marc, I’m bringing you a case of beer.

If I’m ever misfortunes enough to have my car repaired these guys are my first choice. I’ve had to take my beloved miata in after my hard top was stolen before the new years rain… These guys go above, beyond and further to do a damn good job. Marc and his crew are a dying breed of genuine people with professional skill. As soon as I arrived Marc greeted me personally, shook my hand like a man and hopped right in going to town before even talking paperwork or prices. He showed me how to latch up my non-​stretched soft top and immediately let me know about a slow leak I had. When I left the crew had already cleaned my musty headlights and generally treated the car as if it was their baby that had been molested. Never have I laughed as much bringing a car to a shop as I did with these guys, they’re super relatable and if they have room in the shop they’ll take care of you guaranteed.

Perhaps more elusive than a competent honest mechanic is a honest body shop that does great great work. Well if you are reading this review, you have found one! Marc really goes above and beyond your standard body shop and is very focused on making the customer happy.
Took my GTI in after a minor accident. First he told me he would eat my $ 100 deductible. Then we got to talking and ended up asking him to touch up some of the lower valances on my car. He also offers to fill in a couple of missing spots in my wheel well trim. Get a call from him a few days later and he has an idea. He says the molding around the bumper would look great in black to go with the rest of the car. I agree and give him the go ahead. Turned out amazing! It was extra work for him, but that didn’t stop him from going out of his way to offer it to me.
Car looks much better than before the accident.

Marc is such a real, honest guy. He helped me out big time and went out of his way when my van’s water pump went out. His pricing was fair and his work was great. After he was done we even sat down and just talked for a while. It felt like having a friend do my mechanical work. Highly recommended.

Thank you for being amazing. I mean hands down — AMAZING.
After many experiences with auto body shops that treat you like you HAVE to use them because the insurance company has a plan with them, it was refreshing to go somewhere that wanted my business so they could make my car great again, but were also happy to recommend other shops that the insurance prioritized.
Marc really, truly is a fantastic owner who cares about your car. I felt like he was an immediate family member form the moment I met him and felt like he took care of me and my cars needs like I was family.

Before I went to Burnside Collision I went to two places to get estimates. The estimate from Burnside Collision was consistent with those. Two of the locations were preferred vendors by State Farm. When I decided I wanted Burnside Collision to fix my car I had to go to a State Farm location to have my car evaluated. They refused to look at my 3 existing estimates that all reported the exact same needed repairs and said I needed about 40% less in repairs.
My car is critical for work both functionally and in appearance. My claim was 100% valid against the person who hit my car, yet the adjustor made me feel petty for my claim and that I was a crook — someone just trying to get money for a minor fender bender — and that I was stupid. Noting makes me feel more mad than someone who makes me feel dumb.
When I took my car into Burnside Collision, Marc assured me all the repairs would be done, though the check I had was for only 60%of the three quotes. He said he’d get it sorted out. Of course when he dealt with them — they did approve the repairs on the estimates I brought them. However it took them two days additional for the repair approval and delayed my car from being fixed for two days — of which State Farm has since billed me for the car rental. (A month after everything has been done — I am still battling charges on my credit card that now require a check to be issued from State Farm. I am frustrated because Burnside Collision advocated for me, got approval, and still I feel like the State Farm thinks I am a crook.
Back to the repair — Burnside Collision made my car look AMAZING!!! For once in my life, in regard to a car, I felt like I had a real advocate instead of someone seeing me as a bunch of $$$‘s and a sucker.
I will definitely take my car there again should it need anything done to the body. I’m pretty picky and have an older BMW. I was worried the paint wouldn’t match as State Farm lead me to believe when I dropped my car off — Guess what State Farm!!! The paint matched perfectly and Burnside Collision was amazing!!!

P. S. Marc was as annoyed that my key fob had a short in it… (not collision related) he fixed it for free as a thank you for using them. Having it work again is seriously better than the cosmetic repairs to my car. Thank you with all my heart!!! I think of you all every single time my arms are full and I can unlock my car where ever I am, instead of manually.

Marc was a joy to work with. He and his crew are hard workers and were perfectionists in getting our car back to where it was before the crash. They communicated beautifully 1 – 2 times a week to keep us informed on the status of the job, and worked well with our insurance company. We would definitely work with them again!

I’ve always known exactly who to go to for auto body work, I grew up with a dad who was very well known in the business for his artistic abilities in painting and meticulous finishing skills. He had some pretty impressive clients in the racing world and was sought after and considered a master at his craft. Recently, when my Honda Element was hit in the rear I called an old friend of my dad’s who told me to try Mark at Burnside Collision, so I did. It was awkward trying someone new but the location was convenient and after meeting him I thought it was worth a shot. He was professional, he answered all of my questions without making me feel like an idiot, and he seemed trustworthy. Once he got started he took care of everything. He dealt with the insurance company and the rental car company and was a great communicator through the whole process. My car looks great, his finishing skills are sharp, he polished it up inside and out, making it look much better than it has in years! I’ve had several compliments already and it’s been a great experience!

Great service and incredibly kind owner and staff. I really appreciated their honesty, and I felt like they were looking out for what was best for me and my car, not their bottom line. I would recommend Burnside Collision to anyone.

I was in Portland this last weekend on a visit and had the misfortune of getting in an accident. I was so lucky I came across Burnside Collision. I was greeted by a courteous staff that really understood the stress and emotions I was going through. They were really nice and made me feel a lot better about the whole event. They gave me a clear and thorough estimate at a very honest price. I was amazed at the quick turnaround. I had my car fixed and ready to go by the end of my trip. I believe I spoke to a man named Mark and he was great. If you are ever in need of body work, I highly recommend these guys. It’s comforting to know that there are still businesses out there that are honest, hard-​working, and deliver superior service.
