This place is the best around! Tom and Dean are very knowledgeable and will gladly guide you in the right direction without trying to upsale or rip you off. I needed new flooring that would stand the test of time with my dogs and country living lifestyle and they suggested a laminate that looks great while also being durable and long lasting. The flooring to include intallation was reasonably priced and beat the local Home Depot prices while also providing a higher quality product and professional installation. I would highly recommend this place to everyone! A family owned and operated local company so keep your money local and call these guys!

These guys are the worst. Stay away from them. They are like car dealers for carpet. The owner Tom is a liar and cheat. First I called to ask for a person to come over and measure, but was told no I had to come into the store first. So we did and my partner picked the most expensive carpet in the place(or so they claimed) at 30 a yard. Why they do yard instead of sqft, to screw you and make sure you don’t understand the price. He didn’t tell me installation was extra at this point. I gave him my measurements, and said I did not want padding to be glued to our basement floor. His guy came and did the measurements, and then my partner went in and paid, he did not give her a receipt. I still haven’t seen a receipt actually now that I think about it. They came to install the carpet a week later, and they had done the wrong measurements. So one carpet had to go back and be rebound, all the while Tom making a big deal that he’d have to pay for this, after over charging me for his guy not being able to read a tape measure. Next the installer said he’d be back tomorrow to install the carpet he messed up. So I stayed home from work so I cold be there, guess what the guy didn’t know his ass from his head and the carpet wouldn’t be ready till the following week. Which means the we couldn’t move into that room yet, I explained this to him and told him that if the padding gets damaged that they would have to pay for that. Because you see, his installer glued padding on the basement floor, after I repeatedly said I DIDNOT want it glued to the basement floor. The following Wednesday the installer just shows up with the carpet, no call to let us know, or ask if we are going to be home. I just got a call from Tom to inform me about the carpet, and I was rather put off by this behavior, he said he assume my partner would be home, why she has a job too, so he hung up. No idea what is going to happen now. Don’t use these guys, they are worse then car dealers. Go to Empire or Costco, wish I did.

Here is the story of a lovely lady(that’s me!). I recently decided to embark on the project of replacing the old, gross carpet in two of my small bedrooms. I began my mission by researching on line. I had no idea about the process and as a single woman, I didn’t want to be taken for a ride, I wanted the job done professionally. I called Carpet Kingdom and Tom answered. I told him about my project and he told me to come on in after answering some of my questions. When I went in and Tom was really helpful with showing me colors and styles and we only looked at the types of carpet within my price range. No used car salesman here! The next day his carpet installer came over to measure my rooms(on a weekend) and as Tom had predicted, he was in and out within 5 minutes. Tom called me on Monday to say he could order the carpet and have it installed that week, which is exactly how it went down. All of this transpired within a few days and everything went according to plan. I LOVE the color and carpet I selected. Thanks to Tom who was patient and helpful with me. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone in the market for new carpets.

I am a contractor and have worked with many flooring companies including home depo, lowes, paulsons, Marion’s and empire today. Tom and Dean have the best prices and no surprising extras. Good people and really the best prices in town. Our last job was a 3000 sq ft home and they beat the lowest quote by over $ 1100 including installation. The highest quote was 2200 more. We only paid 6300. For the entire job. One shop at home offered 75 percent off., after the discount on the exact items, they were $ 2200 higher.
