Center Space Studio

I took the Tuesday night Hip Hop class here and it blew my mind! The class was totally packed with people. People of a variety of ages and styles, which I was happy to see. The teacher was amazing, Mariecella. She made the routine easy to follow and gave us plenty of time to take it from the top, which helped me really get into it and play around with the moves. The vibe was upbeat and happy. You could tell the teacher really loved what she was doing and her followers loved what they were doing as much as her! When I came out of that studio I was high as kite from the amazing dance dance experience. It took me a second to remember where my car was and what street I was on after spending an hour and a half away from my life, troubles, worries and on the dance floor! Do yourself a favor and check this place/​teacher out!

My favorite place to go just because my favorite hip-​hop instructor teaches here. I recommend taking Mariecella’s class for hip-​hop! She’s so creative and well rounded with hip-​hop/​funk. I love her style and creativity and on top of that you will get your sweat on compared to other classes around town.
Her classes are continuous routines so you can drop in anytime. She has a new routine every week if you get tired of the same routine for 3 – 4 weeks with other classes then you need to go here! You won’t be disappointed and it’s worth the $ 15 drop in. She also has packages too.

I go to Center Space every Friday I’m not out of town, sick, or being forced to do something else that invariably is way less fun than going to Center Space. I go for the most fun, wonderful, queer-​friendly hip-​hop dance class in the entire world, Swagger. The teacher is probably the most patient, upbeat dance teacher I’ve ever encountered — you can tell she really loves what she does and so do her students. I recommend it, and any other class at Center Space, to beginning dancers and more advanced dancers of all stripes!
