Champagne Wedding Coordination

I would like to start off with the fact that I never write reviews but felt the need for this company as the reviews that they currently have seem too skewed.
I started my conversations with Tara at Champagne over a week and a half ago when I was in search for a wedding planner. I sent her my availability and didn’t hear from her the next day and followed up. She emailed me back and said she wasn’t available till Tuesday next week to speak. Ok this is fine but keep in mind I was talking to another wedding planning business and they offered to talk to me the day of and even tried to work around my schedule.
So Tuesday rolls around and I speak to Tara. She was very nice on the phone and highlighted that their responsiveness was their key strength at Champagne. She said she would send me a contract by tomorrow (Wednesday). I really wanted to work with them too as I loved their portfolio online. Unfortunately Friday rolled around and I heard nothing. I sent an email as well and still nothing.
To anybody thinking of booking with them you should walk away now. If she can’t get back to me in the time frame she provided or at least email me and update me saying there are going to be delays then why on earth would I hire Champagne as my wedding planner. Communication is key for a wedding planner and they utterly failed on this part. I’m so glad I didn’t waste my money on them as a full service planner and found out early before I signed.

This review is from a different perspective. I own Delilah’s Catering. On Saturday I catered Christine and Jun’s wedding at J Wrigley Vineyards. Colleen and an assistant from Champagne Wedding Coordination oversaw the entire event.
We exchanged many emails in days prior to the wedding to be sure every detail I was responsible for, such as rentals of tables, linen, china and so forth, were exactly as the bride and groom expected. Colleen was always available for a question.
I don’t think you could throw a curve ball that this company could not handle with grace and finesse. Nothing phased them. Most importantly, they seemed happy to be at the venue seeing that this wedding evolved as the families envisioned.

I love working with champagne– both Mandi and Miranda are super talented, competent and make my life WAY EASIER. I love working with them as a local photographer and collaborating on events.

We did a lot of research when we decided to use a wedding planner for our wedding. We met with three local planners, and ended up with two planners neck-​at-​neck. Finally, we’d decided to contract with Mandi Wiley of Champagne, and we could not be happier with this choice. Mandi has what seems to be a boundless enthusiasm for planning that is matched by her focus on details and ability to execute. She was able to translate our ideas for our wedding into concrete details, and then implement all the tiny pieces into one cohesive vision. The whole time, she kept in touch so we always felt like we knew what was going on, but was still willing and able to run with details when we didn’t have a specific opinion on something. Throughout the planning process, we felt confident that Mandi had things under control.
On the day of the wedding, we were able to let go and trust Mandi to make our wedding day everything we wanted — and she delivered beyond anything we could have hoped. She took random, vague ideas and made them into a gorgeous reality that blew us away and impressed the heck out of our guests. Mandi helped make our wedding everything we wanted and so much more, all while easing our minds and making planning feel minimally stressful and even fun.
We routinely credit Mandi with a huge part of the success of our wedding, and we would recommend her and Champagne without reservation.

Before Mandi launched Champagne she coordinated my wedding day and was responsible for all of the day-​of details. I was so thrilled to hear that she as launching her own company and I have been singing her praises ever since. Mandi is not only smart, detail-​oriented, and super knowledgeable about her industry, she’s about the most cheerful, positive person you’ll ever meet. She takes a lot of pride in her work and is truly working hard to help brides and their families create a special day, and within her client’s budget. I would absolutely recommend Champagne to anyone needing a little, or a lot, of extra help in planning a special event.
