I don’t believe it’s healthy the way the first thing you receive in an appointment is two propaganda videos about how if you don’t get chiropractic care for your whole family, you will end up mangled and disfigured. The chiropractor also reinforced this after meeting with me. Saying I was in stage 2 and needed to see him twice a week. My family friend chiropractor told me this was b.s. I don’t believe in scare tactics from my healers. Not ok. Also, if you decided not to continue service, the chiropractor will not leave you alone– I received multiple calls, texts and emails. Service providers should respect your decisions about your own health. I felt bombarded and harassed.

I went(with a Groupon) and the staff there, especially Dr. Mantell, was nothing short of awesome. I was a bit bummed thinking that I would get more than a cursory examination– but really– the bulk of the Groupon, from what I understand, is more for the massage. I do plan on going back when I get my health insurance(hey, health care ain’t cheap and the doctors have bills to pay too!) and seeing what can be done. Very professional.

Results it what really matters! I am a rough case, I had been receiving chiropractic from a highly respected chiropractor for the last five years. He was wonderful, I always had good results but the waiting and the drive was too much. Also, the results were fair to good, but not great. So, I went to Dr. Mantell, because I was looking for someone who also did Network Chiropractic and was on the east side with little wait. I was really impressed with the initial review. He did a thorough intake, x-rays, pictures, scans and then talked it over with me. At my last chiropractor, the wait was at-least an hour, at Common Ground there was no wait! This is the most efficient run chiropractic office I have ever seen. After 10 weeks of treatment the results are outstanding, I feel much better than I have in 7 years. He asks for a big commitment in order to get results, part of it is financial, part of it is a leap of faith, and part of it is a time commitment to make the investment. He is very direct with you about this and almost feels like a «sell» but I now see that it was about making a commitment to get results. I am really impressed on how they run the office and the great staff. I rarely wait more than five minutes and most of the time it is a zero wait. I am impressed that they also have massage therapists do mini-massages after your treatment to make sure the adjustment stays. Finally, it is clear that Dr. Mantell wants my business, he is very focused in his approach. It is clear he works hard to get my business and keep it through a results based process. I do believe he really cares about his patients. I also wanted to point out is is clear he keeps himself up to date with all the practices and different approaches. Finally, I am thankful to the entire staff for taking the extra effort to make me and my family better. I am very grateful!
