Cookies, Cupcakes & More!

I. LOVE. THIS. PLACE. Please do yourself a favor and get both a cupcake AND a white chocolate cherry cookie. My whole family thinks that cookie is a-​mazing. Plus, the owner is so nice, and the cupcakes could not get any cuter. I’m calling this place for every birthday party forever.

I am so glad I went here for lunch! I work 2 blocks away and there are slim pickings around here. The turkey, avocado, bacon swiss sandwich I had was excellent. All the ingredients were thick cut and wonderful. This was a REAL sandwich not an overpriced tiny little joke like other places I have visited in the area. The person taking my order was a doll. I ordered to-​go. Everything was very quick and I was back in my office within 15 min! I will definitely be back.

Went in today and asked the owner for something chocolate in the cookies. He showed me chocolate chip oatmeal and regular chocolate chip. I bought the oatmeal one. Got it back to work and discovered he actually gave me oatmeal raisin. What a lame mistake for someone who loves chocolate.

My office is in the area & so we got a delivery of cupcakes today to notify us of their location. THANK YOU DEAR CUPCAKE PEOPLE.
I consider myself a bit of a cupcake connoisseur (AKA i love eating cupcakes) & these babies are better than St. Cupcake & Cupcake Jones COMBINED. Seriously.
I cant wait to try more and also stop by for lunch one of these days!

O. My. God. Great food, sweets and staff! Absolutely worth the money and time. We walked here from OMSI and are so glad we did. I had the Savory Bowl, my husband has the Thai Bowl and my son had the Sept Roast sandwich. they were all oh so yummy. We aren’t a GF fam, but that’s an option too. Highly recommend this place!!!

Wow, I definitely side with Brian K on this one. Totally had the same experience with the lunch options here. Got a sandwich and a salad, the total came out to just under $ 20 and my goodness the food was not anywhere near worth the price. The salad was a box half filled with some wilty greens doused in way too much pink sugary vinaigrette. There may have been a few hazelnuts in there too? And the sandwich was a sorry little thing, made with what looked and tasted like run of the mill grocery store bread and turkey that, I’m not even kidding, my friend thought was tuna fish because it was totally shredded up… Like maybe it was the end bits that they pulled out of a package of Safeway cold cuts? The sandwich was supposed to have avocado on it too, but I guess they forgot. Probably would have been gross anyway, like the pale tomato and scraggly shredded lettuce, so I guess it was all for the best.
The reason we checked out this place was because of the convenient location and it seemed like it would be a quick place to grab lunch during the workday. But it also took over 15 minutes for this super basic, low-​quality food to come out. Would have been better off going to Subway, and that’s really saying something!

It’s obvious the reviewer Brian K has royalties to Coopers because his post is way off. This place is new, has a variety of lunch choices, cupcakes, and cookies! The prices are more than reasonable. $ 3 for cupcakes that are decadent enough for any fancy party or event, $ 2 cookies that 4 people could share. White chocolate cherry is my favorite! The sandwiches use fresh ingredients which are purchased daily. Artisan breads, fresh and flavorful salads, and heavenly bowls that are a treat for your tastebuds. This café is just what the area needed. They also cater events, weddings and any party needed. Come down and try them out. You won’t be disappointed. a Unilocal elite

I would not recommend stopping in for anything but maybe cupcakes or a cookie. The «More» part is not worth the nearly $ 10 for a sandwich. This has to be one of the worst sandwiches I have ever had. The avocado was not ripe, there was some turkey on the sandwich, the lettuce tasted salty like it was cut on a cutting board that had something else on it and the swiss cheese was hard. glad it came with some kettle chips so I could get the taste of the sandwich out of my mouth. They should stick to what they are good at and that is cupcakes. I was really hoping that this place was going to be good as I was excited that their was another option across the street from my office. Looks like Coopers Coffee is going to continue to be the spot for a quick bit to eat.

So happy for this new location! Now I can get their fabulous cupcakes ANY TIME! The hard part is choosing which one. I’m not even a bacon fan but that Maple Bacon Cupcake is incredible. LOL. Really they all are. I’ve recently had some of their cake at a wedding and it was beautiful AND delicious. I heard many of the guests raving about it.

I walked into this location in the Southeast Warehouse District after seeing it this morning when I got off the Hawthorne Bridge to get on Water Avenue. I had seen a few times, but I really only recognized it on Monday! So I went into the place and it seemed like a brand new business, which I think is awesome! I totally know how it feels to open up your own space because you are still getting things going, but the only way to make a business work is to open the doors. Well, I walked in, I met the lead baker and also the owner. Very nice gentlemen and he told me that they just opened up on Monday! That is why I just recently recognized them. Anyways, my wife loves red velvet cupcakes, so that is what I bought, in addition to a bacon maple one too. I am so glad this business moved into this area of Portland, because this area is really going gang busters in regards to all the types of businesses that are moving down here. I can’t wait to see what this place looks like in a few months, they are going to be selling a ton of cupcakes. Come on down and support this business, they will not let you down!
