Creating Space Yoga

Great relaxing space. Classes are not packed body to body! Good instructors. Not intimidating for this novice!

I’ve been practicing yoga for several years in the Portland area. I find Creating Space to be clean, warm, spacious with a skilled and friendly staff. I highly recommend this studio to yogis of all levels! Give it a try! You’ll love it!

My friend suggested I participate in a yoga class. I’ve been going weekly for the past six months and I love it. It is the most calming, wonderful, comfortable place to practice yoga.

If you are looking for a yoga space where you can practice and learn at your own pace, Creating Space yoga is it! The space is welcoming, clean and calm.
The teacher/​instructors are kind and great at offering poses for advanced through beginner poses. They offer corrections to poses and adjust to the classes level of practice. The end of class/​shavasana is always a calming and restful way to move on to the rest of the day.
I was looking for a studio that had practice/​class times convenient to my 8:30 to 4:30 work schedule which would allow me to practice in the AM a few times per week and fit in some after work practices as well.
My goal is to practice 3 to 5 times a week to help manage the stress and anxiety of daily/​work life and move toward a healthier lifestyle.
Six weeks have passed now and through the kind assistance of the yoga teachers at Creating Space, I am feeling much better! My anxiety is managed and I am learning new tools to manage the stress of a busy daily life.
The Introductory month of 60.00 dollars allowed me to try as many classes and instructors as I could attend.
Carol offers workshops with guest instructors to enhance and deepen practice. Last night, I participated in a fantastic workshop on myofascial release through the use of props. So glad I signed up for this event! It was great!

I was new to town and pleasantly surprised by Creating Space Yoga. The setting is beautiful, clean, and very calming. The teachers are kind, warm, and happy to make adjustments according to the student’s needs/​desires. Highly recommended!
