Daddy Mojo’s Cafe

So I went into what I thought was Daddy Mojo’s Café today, while reviewing it nostalgia hit pretty hard and instead of sitting around weeping about it, I thought I would spend some hard earned singles on a beer (the real reason I went was to file my tax returns on their interwebs, hooray taxes [just to let you know I made enough money in returns to keep myself in toilet paper for a week {that means not a lot}]). I walk into the place and it is no longer Daddy Mojo’s Café! The sign is still up but the place is in the process of becoming The People’s Grill (sounds like a bad court drama on TBS featuring some qwack who should have retired from television years ago (Howie Mandel).
So the woman working the bar is quite jazzy (old and moves a lot), I ask her what the fudge has happened, she spills it out, I order a can (a real aluminum can! [If it was tornado weather I would have whipped up a tracking device and set them free with my ford f-​150. Alas it was pretty mild outside]). I ask about the internet, and am told «comcast guy said he’d be here sometime after 8.» Seeing as the time is only 8:02 I sit my bob (fanny) infront of a muted television and wait.
The interior is exactly the same, same jukebox, different menu (of which the only thing I caught was a hot dog and chip combo, pretty cheap, but I would go to a damn baseball game if I wanted to eat wieners), but they have some salted almonds laying out and I ate the whole damn bowl waiting for the comcast man (who never shows, unfortunately this is not a review of comcast otherwise I would say fudge or fudging a lot more).
