Let me tell you, the best professional, upstanding car sales associate, hands down. I will always begin here for future car purchases.
I called beforehand about a VW Tiguan I found online. He still had it, seemed nice. Out in Hillsboro. I Unilocaled them, 5 stars across the board from previous customers. It concerned me.
I drove into the wear house parking lot a little thrown off. David came and met me, seemed nice. He showed me the wear house: nice European brand cars. It was clean, the cars looked nice, and there was my Tiguan presented in front of me. Nice.
I bought it. He was super cool about everything. Found me a low interest rate, half what others offered. Had to wait til Monday. He drove it out to my place of work. Spent hours on the phone with insurance people. Fought two hours of traffic on 26. Hell of a guy. Also love my car.
Yea– total recommendation.

I highly recommend DAngelo Auto Sales, I purchased a 2008 Z4 from them; the negotiation was easy since we both had the same ending price in mind; it was an «as is purchase» and therefore the dealer had no responsibility for the car after I drove it off the lot. When I did discover a couple of issues and brought it to their attention David had me bring the car back and they fixed the problems on their own dime. Who does that? Only someone with dedication and integrity!

D’Angelo European Auto Sales is a perfect example of an honest business that thrives due to excellent customer service. I first found David in 2009 when I bought my Audi A6 from him. It was a beautiful fully loaded car that he was able to offer me for half the price of the same car new. It was a lease return and still under warranty. I drove that car until recently when I sold it with 113,000 miles on it.
I went out to he and his Dad’s place of business again and told him exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a black on black Mercedes E350 4matic. I had time for him to find me exactly what I wanted. In a couple of months, he found the perfect car. Again, I was able to purchase a two-​year-​old car still under warranty and fully loaded with navigation, back up camera, keyless entry, sport appearance package, and more, for under half the price of a new same car. That is huge depreciation in two years! The only problem I saw was the stitching on the front seat was beginning to pull apart. He purchased the car, had it delivered from out of town, had the stitching repaired, and had the car serviced and detailed. To top it all off, he delivered the car to my home in West Linn with all of the DMV paperwork in order for me to sign and then he handled all of the transaction. I just had to get into my beautiful new luxurious car and drive it.
The entire transaction was seamless and given white glove treatment. I couldn’t recommend this business more highly.

Before I went to D’Angelos I went to Herzog Meier and had a terrible experience. I already knew what kind of car I wanted so I found D’Angelos. David was awesome he wasn’t trying to push me into buying anything and just showed me there inventory. If you don’t like to be hassled go to D’Angelos. I already knew what I wanted anyway. David was awesome, he even dropped off my car and sent me a thank you card with brownies. Great customer service, nice guy, and helpful.

I don’t buy cars often. I like to buy good quality cars and squeeze every dollar out of them. Part of that is because I’m trying to be wise with my finances but part of that honestly is that I’ve always hated the «car buying experience».
With a child heading off to college, it was time to get a smaller car. We wanted to move from away from the mini-​van (praise the Lord!) and towards an SUV. After doing my homework, I found the right model for us and began shopping. I came across David’s car on the internet. It was priced either at or (most often) below other dealers and private parties pricing. (I must have thoroughly shopped over 100 vehicles before making a call on my top 5 list).
Somewhat dreading heading in to the process not knowing much about D’Angelo and fully expecting «the sell» to begin immediately, I was really glad when I hung up from making the appointment to feel like this was just a simple business inquiry type, cordial and respectful phone call. I was waiting for the other shoe to drop and figured it would be when I got on site, or the test drive. Never happened. There were no stereotypical sleezy used car tactics to speak of. No pressure. None. Just two guys talking about the car matter of factly.
That’s all well and VERY good, but when it all boils down, what really matters is the car. While I’m not a fan of the hard sell, I can deal with it for the right machine. It’s just hoops, but glad not to have to jump through them. Here’s what separated the wheat from the chaff– This particular car had 86k miles on it. His Mechanic did the full 90k mile maintenance. Water pump, belts, everything. About 2k in tune up and replacements. I had this verified by my own personal mechanic. This is unheard of in the used car industry (I know because I was raised in it). All my guy could find was that a high beam was out (I just put in 6 bucks for a bulb tonight, done).
I fully expected that on top of the final negotiated price, I’d plan to drop at least 1500 to get the car to a place of confidence. Not the case. This was presented road ready. We came to an agreeable price-​point and 45 minutes later we were driving it home.
Way to flip the used car buying experience upside-​down David! I’m coming to you when I look for a mini cooper!

My husband and I visited a lot of car dealerships prior to going to D’Angelos and had many negative experiences. We came across sales people who were not very knowledgeable about the cars, or were the stereotypical cheesy car salesman type, or high-​pressure, I could go on… we didn’t feel we could trust any of them. Car shopping at D’Angelos was such a breath of fresh air. This is a father-​son run business that you can feel comfortable car shopping at. David and his dad, Chris, are both extremely nice, down to earth, genuine people who offer high quality, reliable cars. They offer a beautiful selection of vehicles at fair prices. When you visit D’Angelos, leave the games and hard-​ball attitude at home– you won’t need it. These guys are honest and fair, they will not try to screw you like other dealerships. We bought our Audi A4 from them and could not be happier. The customer service throughout the whole process was superb. I don’t ever want to go anywhere else for any future car purchases!

Buying a car at a dealership, used especially, is a stressful experience right? They are trying to get you! That’s what I assumed on my first time buying from someone other than a private seller. Turns out, by chance, I stumbled onto what David (D’Anglelo) called an «un-​dealer». Basically, what it’s not supposed to be. He explained their business model and what they paid for the car I wanted to buy. They have a small inventory of (extremely well maintained) hand selected cars for people that want a VW GTI, or an Audi, or a Mini Cooper S. Etc. They acquire top used cars for people that know what a good car is. Advertising is minimal, word of mouth does more than enough, appointments are requested, and a no pressure father and son run the show. The only salesmen slogan I heard was «the car sells itself» which is spot on, especially during a test drive in a great car. Not much else need be said. All in all a laid back, no pressure buying experience. David even delivered the car to me on the other side of town to fit into my cramped schedule knowing a 2 hour MAX ride was in his future. I would recommend to anybody looking for a car.

My husband and I were looking for a 3^rd vehicle to be his «commuter car.» I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on a 3^rd vehicle and my husband didn’t want to drive a POS. Somehow, we stumbled upon D’Angelo Auto Sales. We worked with David and he was AWESOME. There was absolutely no pressure to buy and he made the buying experience fun. Every car we saw was in great shape with reasonable/​low miles and was priced competitively. David did a great job of understanding what we both wanted and guiding through our best options. Plus, although we were already pre-​approved for financing, he managed to find us an even better rate. This was, BY FAR, the best car buying experience ever and I would not hesitate to refer anyone I know to David.

Okay, we’ve all be treated poorly at auto dealerships — bait and switch, long waits, lowball offers, wrong car, etc.
Not here. This is my second transaction with them and they are great. They gave me $ 5k over what a dealer offered for my trade (yes $ 5k) and got me EXACTLY the car I wanted for less than I expected. When I went to close the deal, I was there maybe 30 minutes and that’s because I was chatty. All the paperwork was done and ready to go.
They deal in quality cars, have great ethics and I recommend my friends all go there. There’s simply no reason to go anywhere else. If you don’t like exactly what’s in their inventory — talk to them — they go to DOZENS of car auctions a month!

Great Experience! First time in my life buying a car was truly hassle free. Dave did all the footwork before we even came in to test drive. I was very pleased and frankly surprised that he was even able to get me a loan through a good bank (with a 10 point drop in interest from my previous loan.) I was in and out with my new car after just a few phone calls and 45 minutes in their office signing paperwork. Great car selection, I didn’t see one vehicle in their showroom that wasn’t pristine. I never bought a car from this place but both me and my fiancé have gone there too look at vehicles a couple of times and they do have nice cars and good prices and David and his Dad are really cool, friendly and honest. Most car places sketch me out but this place doesn’t.
