The gals who work here watched me like hawks while I was shopping for panties… At first I thought she was just trying to be helpful when she followed me out of the panty section to ask if I wanted some help since it was my first time in the store but then after I got the help I actually wanted and started to walk away she stopped me and suddenly asked«can I hold your panties?» I was confused at first then I realized she was thinking I might steal them! Who would bother? They weren’t very good quality. I handed them over but the whole thing just made me feel dirty. The store has no shopping carts or bags so if you’re buying more than a couple things you have no choice but to tuck your purchases wherever you can to carry it all. I wanted to get a dress and some tops but the vibe was so suspicious I couldn’t look around comfortably any more. I was dressed really nice although I do have a bit of color on my skin. I just remember feeling really uncomfortable and left the store after that. I can’t shop where I’m treated like a thief. The gal who hassled me was older. Maybe a manager? To top it off the sizes run really small there and you can’t exactly try on panties… Never again. Sears next door had better quality and normal sizing.

Walked in here yesterday and was immediately greeted by an employee! :) Most stores in malls have stuck up people working who are too good and perfect to give good customer service but not this one! Almost every employee greeted me while I browsed around. I minused one star for the prices on a few things. The jeans are a little spendy. :(

The worst customer service I have ever come across. Not from the employees, but the manager who snapped at the girl trying to help me. It took maybe 30 seconds to take the dress of the mannequin, but she made me feel like such a nuisance. Guess what? It fit perfectly, I loved it, but there’s no way I would buy something from from a place that promotes such poor customer service. I respect the employees who have to put up with her, and whoever promoted her made a terrible mistake. I shouldn’t have to convince you to sell something to me.

Went to Deb Shop at Lloyd Center. I’ve shopped here twice before with no problem. This time I went to return a couple of lace tops I purchased the week before. The tops were clearly unworn, tags still attached. The clerk behind the counter asked if there’s anything wrong with it. I said, «Nothing wrong with it, it’s pretty, just didn’t work well with the outfit I was planning to match it with.» She then asked for my ID, telephone number, and email address. I said, «Why? I have a receipt, right there in front of you.» She said it’s a standard procedure on return items. She’s not even nice when she said it. So, if you buy something at Deb, be sure you like it and keep it. Otherwise, be prepared to get hassled. Better yet, do yourself a favor and avoid the store. As for me, I know I won’t be back in that store ever again.
