Is this place even open still? I had a groupon and never got the chance to use it. I tried using it for a whole month BEFORE the groupon was suppose to expire and there website had errors and would never let me submit my order. I also tried e-​mailing but no response. I called about 20 times (all which were at different times & days) and STILL no response.
I honestly would give it zero stars if I could. Unprofessional and I can’t rate it if I’ve never tried it!

Groupon order was not delivered. Contacted them ten (10) times with NO response at all. Am going to 555 SW Oak to raise hell.

Most of the other reviews pretty much say it all. Is this a real business? Do these people even exist?
Even if they actually responded when an order is placed or if they answered their phone during business hours, what an absolutely absurd business model they have! You place an order, which then seems to fall into a black hole. As a «customer», you apparently don’t get to say what day or what time your order will be delivered. They’ll tell YOU when you get your lunch. That is, IF they get around to it.
I doubt that any food delivery services would stay afloat if they all adopted the philosophy of: «Place your food order. We’ll get it to you sometime when it’s convenient for us. Unless we’re too busy. Then we’ll just ignore you.»
It sounds as if the lucky few who get their orders filled find the food very appealing. I suspect that, as was my experience, most people who try to order never get a chance to find out what the food is like. Give it a try if you feel lucky … just don’t try on a day when you really want to eat lunch. Odds are, you’ll go hungry.

If I could give 0 stars for this place I would. Why? It’s not that the food is bad, although I can’t confirm this. It’s because I’ve never been able to get my order through to Desserts & More By Monet to even try the food!
Like many others, I purchased a Groupon and placed my order as directed on their website. I’ve done this on two occasions and entered it as directed– doing 2 different ways of submission. The submissions were confirmed by the website, yet I never received a confirmation delivery time by the company to finalize my order as instructed.
On a third attempt I also went on to call them and left a message with my order. It’s been over two weeks and I still haven’t heard from them. It sounds like they may be swamped with Groupon orders, or they’re just entirely deciding to ignore their Groupon customers.
I know that as Groupon customers we have to be flexible and patient with their delivery schedule, but to order on 3 separate occasions over the course of 6 weeks and never hear back from them is unacceptable. I’ve since gotten a refund from Groupon. This is all too bad for them because as the owner of a business that provides lunch once a month for my staff, I was hoping to try Desserts & More By Monet and use them for future catering needs. But based on their inattention, I will find other catering companies that treat all of their customers with respect.
With this being said, Desserts & More By Monet, maybe you need to start paying more attention to your Groupon customers because you are definitely losing out on business opportunities and making a poor name for your company.

So as far as the quality of the food goes, I was suitably impressed. I got a chicken satay and portobello mushroom wrap. I’ve only just eaten the chicken, but it was very tasty and the cookie was amazing. Even at full price ($ 8) I think a full meal, side, cookie, water, and delivery is an amazing deal. And the Groupon was for half off!
As far as the order fulfillment; it’s clear this is a small business, probably just the two people and I can only imagine the thousands of orders they’re having to fill from Groupon. Maybe they should have worked on their infrastructure better, but I’m not going to fault them for that. The food is great, cheap, and delivered to my door. I was quite pleased and will be ordering again.

Excellent sandwich and side and cookie. I ordered using a groupon that I’d purchased a long time ago. I ordered online then got a confirmation which I needed to change. They accomodated my change and while I needed to wait a day to get my order it was a very tasty and large italian sub and my hubby got a really good looking grilled chicken on chiabatta. Delivery was free and the lady delivery was really nice and thanked me for using groupon. I will definitely use them in the future. Very filling and great price.

I called the company earlier this month, sometime during the first week of October. Once again, nobody answered the phone so I left a message. Nobody returned my phone call.
I decided to place an order on Tuesday morning (¹⁰⁄₁₈), there was no confirmation page or confirmation email. I had no idea if the order went through or not. On Tuesday, by «close of day» I had not heard from the company about my order.
The only information about delivery that I could find on their website is this: «Your actual delivery day will depend on the Zip Code you gave when you completed your registration. Once we have received your lunch order we will contact each Groupon holder to set up a delivery date. Thank you.»
On Wednesday morning I called the company to see if lunch was going to be delivered on Wednesday or if I should make other plans. Nobody answered the phone, I left a message. Nobody returned the call. I called again at noon because I really wanted to know if they were delivering or not. Nobody answered the phone. I left a message and I followed up with email. On Wednesday, by «close of day» I had not heard from the company about my order.
On Thursday morning I received this email from the company: «Thank your for purchasing our Groupon! Yes, we did receive your submission form, we are delivering the lunches based on zones due to the response. We can deliver your lunches tomorrow between Noon-12:30p. If you are not available please provide at least two alternate dates.» My gut reaction was «are you freaking kidding me!!!» However, instead of responding w/​that I responded to the email w/​a polite «yes, I would like delivery on Friday October 21^st between Noon & 12:30pm».
On Friday I got a call at 11am asking if they could deliver «now». I said yes. When the delivery person arrived at my apartment complex they called me and said «I’ll be at your front gate». (I’m on the 5^th floor) And I said «really? You want me to get dressed and come out there to pick my lunch up from you on the curb??» Awkward silence followed by awkward laugh. Employee said «oh, ok I’ll come up.»

I’m not going to review the food. The service was so, so very bad that there’s no way in hell I’d ever order from this place again. I think this company is ridiculous. Unprofessional. Have I mentioned that I would never order from them again? I would never recommend them to anyone for anything and I gotta wonder what the heck Groupon was thinking — I’ve copied them on this review.
Keep in mind this company’s motto is «we’ve made lunch so easy!»

I too purchased a Groupon. On the Groupon it mentioned nothing of ordering online so after a few weeks of purchase I visited Desserts & More By Monet’s website. There, I submitted my online order and was told on the website that I would receive an email regarding my delivery date/​time. I never got that email so I figured my order didn’t go through.
I waited a month and re-​ordered using the online form. Again, no delivery confirmation so I emailed the company and got a generic reply that basically said order online and that the company would contact me regarding a delivery date which would be anytime between Aug 2011 and Feb 2012! This posed a problem as I work only 3 days a week and wanted my delivery for lunch at work.
I called Desserts & More by Monet and left them a voicemail. They never returned my call. At this point I was scared that it wasn’t a real business and may have gotten ripped off. I emailed Groupon and a day later Desserts & More by Monet emailed me with a delivery time.
I finally received my sandwhiches!!! The person delivering was extremely polite and helpful. She even came in and set the food our on my table. The Turkey Club was very tasty, but even more tasty was the oatmeal cranberry cookie that came with the meal! I gave the other sandwhich meal to my sister, the Chicken Ciabatta who really liked the bread.
I really wish the experience went more smoothly but the food was good.

I got the Groupon and followed the instructions. Groupon can overwhelm a business and I understood when I purchased the Groupon that they would get to me when they got to me. A month or so after I ordered, they sent me a very polite email letting me know when they would deliver my lunch and then they delivered my lunch. It was great!
Best of all, I work from home and I was so consumed with a project that had a tight deadline, I barely had time to get dressed let alone make myself lunch, and then… tada! lunch is at the door.
The Virtual Food Cart is a great idea. I had the Portobello n’ Flatbread and it was just bursting with flavor, the potato chips were home-​made! and the giant snickerdoodle cookie was heavenly.
I Look forward to using them in the future, for real, without the Groupon. They’re a work-a-holic’s dream come true.

I ordered from them with a Groupon deal. The Groupon itself was extremely unclear and when I placed my order I got a rude phone call from the owner saying that they would contact me «sometime between now and FEBRUARY» about when they would be in my zip code. When they emailed me to tell me my delivery date it didn’t work with my job so I requested a new day, which they confirmed. When the appointed day came, my lunch never arrived. I left a voicemail and an email and never heard back.
I emailed them this week to tell them I would be complaining to Groupon and finally got a message today saying that they had tried to contact me on their delivery day, but no other details. The only unknown contact I received on the delivery day was a missed call from a private number an hour after the lunch was supposed to be delivered, and no voicemail.
The customer service has been terrible and I will never pay full price for this place after my experience. (Especially since I’ve never actually gotten to taste their food).

Loved my Turkey Club & Italian Layer sandwiches. Huge, tasty, fresh-​tasting, and they came with bottled water, homemade cookie, mayo & mustard, and choice of fresh chips, coleslaw, or fruit. All for $ 8 each, including delivery!
Turkey Club: smoked turkey, pepper bacon, romaine lettuce, tomato, red onions, herbs, cheddar cheese, toasted sourdough bread
Italian Layer: salami, pepperoni, pancetta, romaine lettuce, roma tomato, herbs, provolone cheese, toasted Italian bread
You can order from lots of tasty menu choices on their website, which I’m excited to try.
