DGC Chimney Service

My boyfriend and I used David and his son last summer to clean the chimney in a home we had just purchased. His price was great and the service provided by both him and his son was even better! They are totally conscientious, professional, and honest. We were so impressed with him last summer, that we had him take a look at the chimney at a rental property of ours after performing the other cleaning. We had received an expensive bid from a prominent Portland chimney servicing company that we were prepared to go through with, but we figured it was a good idea to get a second opinion. After looking at what needed to be done, David concluded that he was able to put a rain cap on our chimney without the pricey fitting the other company insisted was necessary. He also installed a much-​needed damper in the chimney. I thought it might need to be cleaned since this is a 3200 sq ft house heated primarily with the fire place, but last summer he said that it would be a waste of money to clean it b/​c it had only minimal build-​up. So I had him come back this summer and was again really impressed with both him and his son. Such a great family-​run business that I will continue to use and refer people to for years to come!
