Digicraft Imaging

Undoubtedly the worst customer service experience. Sady I will not be going back. In short, they lost my two rolls of film after never having any problems. Todd was always helpful and kind. He’s not there anymore. They blamed my husband for losing the film as he was the one who dropped it off. Thankfully they found it after a week of hounding them. It was very unpleasant. Went to pick up the film and the guy behind the counter didn’t ring it up correctly. When I asked about what I was paying for the woman working in the back was SUPER rude. It took so long to try to figure it out — I just paid them and tried to leave. She ran outside and slammed a stick it note to my windshield telling me «that is what I should have charged you». This, after not knowing where two of the four rolls of film were for a week! Unbelievably bad. NEVER EVER going back.

This place reminds me of the good ol’ days when photography was made great by the process of handling real film and burning your brain cells with potent chemicals that waft through the air as you create art.
Digicraft handles traditional prints, and I believe they have a fairly large digital clientele as well. What really impressed me about this place was the customer service. Namely the front clerk, Todd, was so accommodating and amiable that I would come here to develop pic of my dog… if I lived close… or had a dog.
Nonetheless, I highly recommend Digicraft for photo imaging services. And if nothing else, you might score during your visit by walking a away with some fresh fruit brought in by the owner. (Super cool!)

I hate being bullied into paying for a service I was not satisfied with (like a bad haircut).
I took a photo of myself into Digicraft and asked if they had a graphic artist who could replicate Andy Warhol’s famous print of Marilyn Monroe. Only, I wanted it quadrupled, like the one Kelly Taylor had hanging in her room on Beverly Hills 90 210.
I specifically ordered each square to be a different «PASTEL» color.
What I got when I picked up my order was a print of myself quadrupled, with primary colors (red, green, yellow & blue) in the background.
When I complained that the colors were completely wrong, I was given a guilt trip about all the time it took the «artist» to do and that I couldn’t possibly walk away without paying the $ 90 charge.
When I pointed the word «Pastel» out on my order sheet, the clerk shrugged and said the artist «misunderstood» and that he could re-​do the print, but I’d need to pay him the $ 90 for the time he already spent on my project and an additional $ 90 for the correct one. Not that she would admit the 2^nd print would be «correct» because that would be an admission that the print I was holding in my hand was incorrect.
I whined and I argued, but in the end, I paid the $ 90 for my «incorrect» print, vowing to find an artist elsewhere that knows the difference between pink and red or purple and violet.

Digging through old family photos can be both painful and hilarious all at the same time.
I about peed myself when I saw evidence that I used to play neighborhood baseball IN A DRESS (my future was obvious at a very young age). So funny.
Sadly, that was not the photo that my Dad decided to have blown up and mounted on foam/​core board. He wanted some ancient family images, one of which was on a 35 mm slide and another that was a digital reprint (the negative lost long ago).
I told him I’d take care of it for him, so I took the images over to DigiCraft. Mind you, I know nothing of printing, negatives, sizing, cropping transferring — nothing. So when I vaguely asked for mounted blown up copies, they happily agreed and offered suggestions that would make the images higher quality and save me some bills.
About four days after dropping the images off, I picked up the enlargements. And they are FANTASTIC! The staff at DigiCraft did a great job and were so friendly too. The price was reasonable (I think?) and they’re in southwest, so ya don’t even have to go to far out of the way.
