As an end of season job, after being put off on bids by several other well regarded painters, I called Josh and had him paint my house, Despite uncooperative weather he came through and his crew did a great job, at quoted price, which I am happy about. Other than a little more care needed being taken by the crew regarding cleanup after the job (a very small omission) I cannot find fault with Distinctive Painting and feel comfortable adding my recommendation.

Josh and his crew did a great job on our new house. We had to repair drywall and paint a couple of rooms; Josh took care of everything from start to finish. He was on time to provide a bid, gave appropriate feedback and suggestions and outlined a timetable that he stuck to. We had everything done in a few days and it looks great. I will definitely use Josh again and highly recommend him and his services.

Sadly we can’t recommend Josh the way the others have here. Josh simply didn’t both to show up to even provide the bid. Our tenants missed work to meet him and show him the job, but he was a no show and no call. After two more calls in two days to find out if he had a conflict and needed to reschedule, it’s clear Josh could use a very basic lesson in customer service. He might do a good job, if you can actually get him to follow through and show up. But, I’d be weary to hire or recommend anyone who doesn’t bother to keep his commitments or return calls explaining his absence.

Amazing job! we hired them to paint the interior of our old craftsman that has crown molding and picture molding everywhere in the house. They did a fantastic job, were quick and very courteous the whole time. I plan on having them do the exterior next summer.

Did a great job and fast, responded to my needs when expectations were not met, too. Josh is highly personable and goes beyond your wishes to provide quality service.
On our first project, a new employee got overspray on the vegetation, but the owner (Josh) was dedicated to customer satisfaction and not only reimbursed me for the damaged plants but made such a good impression that I hired him again… and again.
