Doggie Paddle

I will not go back. The main reason I will never go back is because the lady that ran the place was very condescending and rude to us. Because of the way she talked to my husband she ruined our time there and our memories. She could have been more tactful or post the rules somewhere so they could be followed. At least her rudeness did not change my dogs fun time however I did think the place and the water were too hot for dogs.

My dog is a rescue from the Second Chance program through Oregon Humane Society. She is extremely skiddish and her water experience is little to none since we adopted her at 6 months old. Now she’s 4, and we are still working on building her confidence. I wish I would have known about Julie’s awesome swim facility earlier. She was extremely patient with getting my pup getting used to being in the water. She did so well, her tail was wagging throughout the swim, and she just loved it. Julie’s energy with dogs is amazing and I can’t wait to take my dog back for another swim. She was so happy when she got out and trotted all over the place while we changed to got ready to leave. We can’t wait to go back! Thanks Julie!

Our three Beagles love going to swim with Julie at Doggie Paddle. We just started our youngest Beagle, Mojo, at 3 months, and he loved it. Even jumped back in! One of the best exercises for your dog! And Julie is so compassionate and caring with your «kid» that you can clearly tell she «knows» dogs. Can’t praise this place enough either…
