I have been a customer of Dogs on the Run for many years. The last year and half, I have been lucky enough to have Jessica helping me with my dog Stella. Simply put — Jessica is terrific. She is a true professional and so clearly loves dogs. Prior to moving to Portland, she walked Stella every weekday and stayed overnight with her several times (and for up to 3 weeks). Jessica has a wonderful bond with my dog. She goes way above expectations, often taking extra time with Stella to take her to the park or beach or just give her extra exercise. She is incredibly reliable and has helped to maintain and reinforce Stella’s training. If there was ever the slightest issue with Stella, Jessica reached out to me immediately.
I highly recommend Jessica — she will be great with your dog!
Stella and I both miss her since she moved to Portland — our loss is Portland’s gain.

I’ve never met a more responsible and passionate dog walker! My poodle, Maxi, loves Jessica more than she loves me! I’m a wok a holic and rarely have time to take her out, which is horrible because she’s a high energy dog, but Jessica knows exactly how to manage her. She’s good about updating me on anything that’s going on and sends me pictures of my little Maxi that I just love. Very kind and professional, I’d recommend Dogs On The Run to anyone with any dog.

I can’t recommend Dogs on The Run enough. I have used the company for about 4 years and have always been more than satisfied. We use Jessica, primarily, and our 4 dogs couldn’t be happier when she comes to stay with them. They are always incredibly well cared for and get lots of walks and love. Jessica and all the other employees I’ve worked with have always gone over and beyond my expectations.

I just can’t say enough good about Jessica M. I have 2 cats that are both high maintenance, and they run to Jessica when she walks in the door! I have never worried once about traveling knowing she’s taking care of my pets. She is honest, kind and a true professional. I have even left the cats when they’ve had medical needs and have had no concerns that Jessica couldn’t handle any problem. I always get updates and texts and super cute pictures. jessica is truly a gem! She’s the best caretaker in town!

Jessica has given my aging senior excellent care and attention when I have been out of town this past year. She went above and beyond several times to make sure my sweet dog was well taken care of. It has been stressful for me to leave my dog alone overnight since she is such an old girl and has medical issues, but I always felt confident that Jessica could handle any problems. She always sent me reassuring updates, or contacted me immediately with questions. She is an outstanding caretaker, I recommend her highly!

Dogs on the Run has been walking one or both of my dogs for many years. The service that Jessica provides and the attention she gives to my black lab Roxie is first rate. She always leaves a note letting us know how the walk went and which squirrels were the most interesting. Roxie looks forward to the daily walks and the service Jessica provides really helps us manage our busy lives. I couldn’t recommend Jessica more. Give her a call and know you can trust her with your canine buddy!

Jessica has been taking care of my lil Mia for several years now. I know Mia will miss here due to the bond they have. Jessica has taught Mia and myself over the years in regards to training tips she has offered. San Diego is going to miss Jessica and so will we.

I’ve had some bad luck with dog walkers over the years – either unprofessional or simply didn’t know how to work with my crazy Maltese friend, Frankie!
Fortunately, a friend recommended Magpie. She’s fantastic. Honest, professional, and immediately knew how to handle Frankie. The detailed notes after each session with the pup gives me peace of mind. She’s a «bone-​afide» dog person. :)
