Edo Mechanic

Edo is the go-​to mechanic. Honest, smart, patient, thoughtful, efficient and highly competent and diligent. He goes the extra mile. He is up front about what he doesn’t feel are his areas of strength — with my 36 year old car for example, electrical is not his thing and he won’t waste your money endlessly searching for the source of the problem. Same with serious transmission issues. Other than that, if it is a moving mechanical part, he’ll fix it. Also he is not an email or text guy and doesn’t take credit cards. I can’t imagine there is any place in Portland where you would get more value on the dollar. I trust him to give me the straight story and spend no more — or less — than is prudent or necessary on my beautiful classic Mercedes 450SL. First rate — you can’t go wrong as long as you understand his MO and what you need fits his clearly stated range of expertise and means of communication — which is the telephone.
