Dr. Mendenhall is professional, thorough and really listens to you. I had pretty much exhausted all the options with my primary care provider and my ob/gyn in regards to sleep, depression and peri-menopausal issues. Through trial and error getting the hormone balancing supplements correct, I was much better within a few weeks and now 6+ months later am pretty much symptom free. Dr. Mendenhall will also communicate with you via email which is not only convenient but efficient. The office building is bright, cheerful, with beautiful natural wood floors. The other clinicians I have seen at the Clinic are also excellent: Dr. Moreland and Dr. Brown for acupuncture and Dr. Sullivan for HeartMath Training.

My appointment with Dr. Mendenhall was basically fine. i saw her at her sellwood location which is pretty rinky dink but that’s not a big deal. she wasn’t ready for me when i arrived but once we got started she seemed to listen well and the information she offered was fine. however, once it got to billing and payment i was VERY disappointed. she sent me an email two days after my appt. stating i owed her $ 150 because my insurance deductible hadn’t been met for the year. i asked if i could make sure because i had just seen my regular doctor the friday before i saw her and i didn’t want to over pay because of slow processing of my insurance company. she said that was fine. i then looked at the«bill» she sent me. it had a list of service charges that she bills for and a total but didn’t actually state what she was charging me for. when i asked about it she said that is her«super bill» with everything she does, it’s meant to be helpful, yadda yadda yadda. i then asked her specifically what she charged me for and the total cost of my visit. she emailed me back, did not tell me what services she charged me for, just the cost of my visit and suggested we discuss it on the phone. i called my insurance company. turns out, my deductible was met(based on my previous appt. s with other providers and this appointment with mendenhall) and that she actually billed the insurance company for more than the quoted price of the appt. that she gave me. i really think she was trying to scam me for more money and wanted me to pay before the insurance company did so she could get more money out of me. i felt like her«billing» was vague and a sneaky way to get more money out of me or my insurance. when i confronted her with the info from my insurance company and told her what i would be paying she just simply said that should take care of it with no explanation of why she told the insurance co. the cost of my appt. was more than she told me. I do not trust this woman and the direction she gave me at my appt. was very basic, nothing i wouldn’t have done on my own anyway.
