I have been going to Natasha Coburn for acupuncture for about 2 months now and she is wonderful! She provides a comprehensive experience and takes the time to explain what she’s doing and why. She also just has a lot of wisdom about healthy, natural living and is clearly an expert acupuncturist. I highly recommend her acupuncture services!

I just purchased an Amazon Local deal for a 60 minute massage for Elixia Wellness Group yesterday (⁸⁄₁₄) and went in today for my full body massage; not the best first or last impressions were made. I spoke with the receptionist the day before and she said I could print out paperwork online and fill it out beforehand to get my massage started right away. My appointment was made for 10:15am and when I got there, already about 10 minutes early, the receptionist said, «Oh, the massage therapist isn’t in yet, he thinks your appointment is at 10:30am.» I responded, «No, the appointment was made yesterday for the earliest appointment today at 10:15am.» She just had me take a seat and I sat and waited until 10:30am anyway. The massage therapist spoke to me for a few minutes and got started a few minutes after 10:30am, so one would obviously assume he would finish at 11:30am or a few minutes after especially if the massage therapist thought our appointment began at 10:30am. He finished with my massage at 11:15am, ONLY approximately a 45 minute massage, and it was also NOT a true full body massage. He did not massage my head, upper neck, full arms, hands, fingers, and feet which is typically included with full body massages. The massage was not bad, but I was ripped off for 15+ minutes and it was not full body massage even after I verified it would be once I arrived to the room. Bad first impression, I will not be returning here for any massages or any other treatments in the future.

I was in an accident and started treatments at Elixia through Sarah Miscoe. She is hands down one of the best massage therapists around. Sarah has an abundance of knowledge and an intuitive touch that is wonderfully healing! I Highly recommend her for any massage services you may want or need.

I’m a new patient but I cannot express how impressed I am with the kindness I’ve been shown so far. I’m looking forward to more work with acupuncture.

I’ve been getting chiropractic treatments for a few different issues from Dr Ycasas for a couple months now and my quality of life has changed so much. I came to Elixia on a recommendation from a friend and I’m so happy that I did.
Dr Ycasas is easy to talk to, friendly and receptive of patient’s needs. I had a few different physical issues to address and I’ve been surprised by how quickly my body can heal with some professional help!
I can’t speak for anyone else’s experience but I’d like to say that I haven’t had any issues at Elixia with my veganism. In fact it was a veg friend of mine that recommended Elixia. Just thought it was worth noting.

I’ve been to many acupuncturists, but Natasha Colburn at Elixia rises above them all. She is truly talented. I feel lucky to have found her and cannot imagine not being able to go to her — if I ever move, I’ll travel back to PDX to see her. Not only have I seen more results with her than anyone else I’ve been to, which is what makes her stand out among the many LAc’s in our town, but she also has an incredible way of creating a calm and uplifting environment that rejuvenates me.

My husband and I have both had nothing but good experiences at Elixia. Everyone we have dealt with has been professional and caring. We love the variety of services and that they have been genuinely interested in finding the best therapy for the issues we have presented. Sarah Miscoe is an amazing massage therapist and we have both benefitted from her healing touch. We are currently seeing acupuncturist Danielle Melanson who is knowledgeable and insightful in her therapy, and we are both experiencing positive results. The office is run very professionally, yet everyone is always friendly and accommodating.

TOLD ME I HAD TO EAT MEAT TO GET PREGNANT
which is just not true. This place is very anti-​vegan and anti-​vegetarian and preaches the newest «fad» diet — Paleo. They recommend this to all of their clients, no matter who you are and what your condition. Paleo only makes people feel better because they’re eliminating refined sugars from their diets — not because they eat animal protein. And to suggest there’s no other way for me to get pregnant is just untrue. Their recommendation to eat meat would actually make my condition (fibroids) worse, not better — red meat is the worst thing I could eat. They should not be giving nutritional advice without doing their research and their fad diet preaching is just irresponsible.

I’ve been going to Sarah Miscoe for massages for years, and a while ago she moved over to Elixia. I can’t comment on any of the other services, as I haven’t used them, but I can highly recommend Sarah. I have had massages, good and bad, all over this city, and Sarah is just amazing, and the best massage therapist I have come across. She is extremely thorough, she really listens to what you are telling her, and she just does an amazing job. Her 1hr 45 min massage is not to be missed. Currently it is only $ 90, which just seems crazy. Get in there quick before she justifiably raises her prices!

Still no response from management. I won’t be going back for sure now. A company that cannot respond to a letter to them with valid points made is a company that should be avoided. Don’t miss an appointment here anyone or two… you WILL get a letter from that warning you. However, if there appointments run late… you will get nothing… you lose. Game over. Enjoy it while you can.

In addition to Dr. Ycasas, we have started seeing Ken Reader for massage therapy. He is wonderful! He really takes the time to understand what is going on and has great advice to send you home with. We all know we have to stretch and work on our issues in addition to the help we receive from our professionals. Both Ken and Dr. Ycasas hone in on your exact issue (s) and give you the stretches and movements that are needed. We are very happy with him and he is amazing at what he does. You won’t be disappointed.

Highly recommend Dr. Melody Short for accupuncture for children. I never thought I would have taken children to be «needled» but my 6 year old daughter had recurring bladder infections and the antibiotics were really taking a toll. I decided to see Melody. After the 7^th diagnosed infection, I called Melody and was so thankful she could squeeze us in. 4 days after treatment, we rechecked the urine and it was clean. No more infection and no drugs. Melody has a lovely way that gains the trust of children immediately and amazingly takes something that could be considered scary and puts children right at ease. My daughters always feel comfortable be treated by her and the results speak for themselves.

I love this place. The only health practitioners to be able to do much for me and my issues have been naturopaths. I mostly chose this clinic because I found Dr. Minarik who performs prolotherapy. I was curious about this procedure and wanted to know if it would work for me. I contacted Elixia and one other clinic, and Elixia was the first to respond. Dr. Minarik called me ASAP and we discussed my issues and whether or not I’d be a good candidate for prolo. Turned out my issues are right up the prolo alley so I have been a patient now for six months I believe. I have not worked with any other practitioner there but I do find the front desk staff to be wonderful and have had a positive experience every time.

The best thing that I have ever done in my life. I was a skeptic at first, being raised on traditional western medicine but now I am a believer. Dr Weeks is amazing. He can pretty much fix anything, naturally of course. I have never felt so good leaving a Dr’s office much less one that does not drug you up and suggest surgery at every corner. He has taught me about the importance of diet and how it affect everything and that you can fix a lot of things by what you eat. I really cant say enough. Thank you Dr. Weeks.

I am really happy with my new Natropath, Dr. Shannon Weeks. He really listens to your issues and explains what he is doing, actually spending some real time with you to diagnose and treat your problem. I’m feeling so much better after his treatments. I highly recommend this place if your not getting the service and treatment you would expect from your regular doctor. I’ve also had a massage here and was very happy with that as well.

This review is for acupuncturist and all-​around-​Chinese-​medicine rockstar, Melody Short. I was referred to Melody by my former
in the Bay Area, who apparently was a classmate of hers in Chinese Medicine school, and man do I ever owe her for that!
I’ve only had one appointment with her so far, but it was almost immediately effective for my particular maladies (I’ll spare you the gory details, but let’s just say they’re female ones…). Not only that, but she emailed me about a product she had recommended, within a couple hours after the appointment… and when I replied to tell her how effective the treatment was, she was stoked and replied to me right away. She also gave me her cell# to reach her. I love it when a practitioner is actually interested in communicating with you without a co-​pay.

A well rounded group of professionals with the know how and empathy to provide excellent care to those who visit their group.
Although not currently listed on the site, Dr. Livingston is an excellent chiropractor whom I would highly recommend.
