Envy Nail And Spa

These guys are really good at the buffing and scraping. .. my feet feel great when they are done. The painting, however, is pretty consistently unacceptable. Tonight, for at least the 4^th time, I went away with nails that are going to need to be repainted by somewhere else. Very disappointing.

I love this place. I’ve had a pedi and two shellac manis here. Everything is nice and clean and I have always gotten right in. I don’t get a mani or pedi often but this has become my go to spot.

All I can say is «OUCH!» I went in for a pedicure and let them talk me into a manicure without polish too. I have never endured such pain inflicted on my digits! The gal went to town on my cuticles on my toes, which initially I appreciated despite how rough she was. After she applied the polish, she ran her own long fingernails underneath my toenails to clean up the excess polish. Her nails were like razors. It got worse when she started in on my hands. She was moving so fast she cut one finger and then another. I Unilocaled and she saw I was bleeding, so she poured acetone on them; I nearly lept out of the chair. Panicked, she told me to soak my fingers in cold water and then tried to stop the bleeding with some little pieces of cotton. She then said I should soak them again so she could paint them, clearly forgetting I didn’t want polish. I asked her to stop and wrapped my two fingers up in a paper towel. No one batted an eye and they still charged me full price. My fingers were still bleeding when I got home. Never again.

The salon was clean and comfy.
There is a good polish selection, although the one I picked must have been old, because it chipped and looked very worn (dull) after 2 days.
There are nice extra touches like wax and massage.
The young man who did my pedicure seemed a bit rushed, and I noticed him look at his watch 3 times. He was also quite rough, especially with the cuticle cut… literally ouch! My toes hurt for weeks.
I had thought the pedicure turned out pretty good. When I got home I noticed my left big toe looked like the polish was glopped on, but otherwise I was mostly happy. However, as I said above the pedicure looked trashed within a day or two.
For giving up an hour of my time, and $ 25.00, I expect more. I pay $ 25.00 or less at other salons, and I get wonderful service, and my toes look fabulous for at least a month… 1 day of looking good was quite a disappointment. I ended up taking off the polish and redoing it myself.

Just found a new place close by my house, very convenient and sweet the gals are nice, friendly and profestional. The place is very clean. My new favorite place !!!
