Luna Pereira is quite simply the best massage therapist I’ve ever seen. She is a wonderful, beautiful, and genuinely compassionate person whose very presence compels you to unload the physical and psychological burdens of your life. She listens and actually remembers the stories you tell her, and the names of the people in your life. If you need silence, she will be quiet with you while giving you the best massage of your life with her hands AND feet. If you share good news, she celebrates with you; something sad, a truly compassionate and perfect word for the moment. She is about $ 25 more expensive than any other massage therapist I’ve seen, but Luna does double duty as a therapist of body and mind, and as such is a steal at $ 85.

Really the best massage I’ve had since in town. Luna is amazing and so, so personable. I just was completely at ease with her throughout my hour massage — physically & emotionally. She is very well priced and USES HER FEET. Do not go if you are weird with feet, but if you are totally cool with anything, it’s a better massage then I’ve ever experienced before… and hey, try something new!

Hands down (no pun intended) the best massage in Portland and probably Oregon. Ask for Luna and you will not be sorry. She is amazing! She doesn’t just work on your body she works on your soul… and I don’t even believe in souls! Trust me, if you go once, you will find yourself going back again and again. The location is easy to get to and the space is warm and inviting. They really know how to care for the whole individual at this place. If you love massage then you will enjoy Esencia. If you don’t like massage then you have obviously never been to Esencia.
