Exodus Books

Exodus books has great books for all ages, a friendly staff, and a nice couch. They are kind of oddly hip for Christians, like maybe they are emergent? Amazing selections of books from the canon of Western literature, philosophy, and theology that my public school barred me from reading. As a result of this lack of knowledge (like I didn’t have a cool Chronology of History map to fill in, or a copy of Pilgrim’s Progress) I lost track of one of the most important truths in the world: people kind of suck, but reading doesn’t. Don’t let your children lose track of this reality. They should be able to discuss the history of the Roman empire at age 9, and discourse on Euclid by age 12. At least theoretically, this store makes it possible. Great used book section.
