Some elegance comes up with the Eye of Orion sculpture. The yellow hue and the boldness of it’s look into the cosmic is delightful. The position at the top of the stairs makes it very easy to access.
During the course of browsing the Portland Art Museum’s exterior, I discovered this. It was pleasant, and there certainly was a caption. I haven’t seen too much in the way of yellow sculptures, so I have to say that contributed very much to my being impressed.
Go once to see Eye of Orion.

This statue was made by Manuel Izquierdo, He was from Spain and came to Oregon as a refugee of their Civil War. This statue is very visible a gold sun on top of a small pyramid. I like it though it is nothing special.
Fun Fact: part of the main museum building used to house an art school. Izquierdo was a teacher there for 46 years.
