FedEx Office Print & Ship Center

This is probably the worst FedEx I’ve ever been to. The entire crew has an attitude problem and cannot be bothered to help you. I’ve been to this location 3 times and always receive mediocre service so it was time to write a review. Managers, Please train your staff on what it means to provide good customer service, no one at this location knows how to provide it. Do yourself a favor and just go to office max on MLK, they’re amazing and ALWAYS go the extra mile!

i came in today to print some stuff off and was immediately dismissed by the manager, telling me to print it off myself. every other time i’ve came into FedEx Kinkos i’ve had my docs printed off for me no questions asked. the manager, named Teddy, also talked down to an employee in in front of other customers, and complained about the printing job she wad given. when i came back to the front desk to ask for assistance she talked down to me again. i understand the printing job i could have done myself but the way she had told me was just completely rude. TJ, a sales employee, however, helped me out, understanding the treatment i had and was very courteous toward me. for a busy location like this in the middle of downtown, i don’t think Teddy is capable of managing properly. i felt so bad for the employee she yelled at.

Wow, this place has seriously some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. All I needed to do was print and fax a single page. I came in and the printers all seemed to be broken, so I asked the employee standing in the middle of the store for help, and he just kind of mumbled something and walked away into the back. Ten minutes later someone else comes to the front counter, who I ask for help, and she just kind of shrugged and was like whatever. There was literally one other customer in the store, come on guys! About forty five minutes later I manage to debug their cryptic printing system (after having to reformat a USB drive, yea that is intuitive) and get my stuff sent off. Holy molly, steer clear of this place if you value your time!

It was 7:00AM on a Thursday, April 2^nd and I was out of town on business trying to print out some presentations. I would have to say, I had one of the worse service experiences I have ever had at a Kinko’s. I was really just looking for someone to guide me through the process of how to print out a document. The young lady working this morning was so preoccupied with organizing the store that I was left with one of the worse service if experiences of the year so far. I kept asking her to help, but she would not take a second to stop running around to focus on the only customer in the store, me. If a customer has a need, the service provider needs to stop what they are doing and focus on servicing that customer. The service I was provided was zero stars. Kinko’s, pay attention to your customers.

I use FedEx offices across the country on a regular basis for business. I’ve tried this location a couple of times even after a subpar first experience, just in case the first incident was a fluke incident. They are definitely consistent in one area: Horrible Service. I think it’s a requirement to have zero interpersonal skills to work there. Thankfully there are other great Fedex office locations in Portland.

I went into this FedEx Office location last Friday evening (Friday the 13^th, actually) and was a bit stressed about trying to get some business cards printed and cut before they closed so I could take them to a conference I was attending on Saturday.
I spoke with Meilani over the phone and she said they typically cannot guarantee to do this type of project in a couple hours. But she said they weren’t extremely busy, so suggested I come in and she would see what she could do. When I arrived, she knew exactly what I wanted. I was so thankful she thought they could get my cards printed, cut and ready for me that same night! Thank you Meilani! Generally everyone was helpful in the store location, but she really went above and beyond to help me get my project finished that night. They even called me as soon as the cards were ready so I could come back and get them. I would definitely recommend using this store anytime. Just make sure you explain what you need — and be nice — a friendly customer leads to friendly service.

I was thoroughly disappointed after spending ten minutes there with little help trying to use the basic computer, internet and scanner. The staff refused to help me but kept returning to the counter and the place was virtually empty. I had to keep asking them for the most basic help since the computer seemed to not be working at all. After I managed to find one that did work, it seems it would not take my yahoo i.d. I mentioned this to one of the staff members and she said, «oh, it actually doesn’t work because of yahoo’s security problems.» well I could have been told this before I spent five dollars trying to upload two simple receipts to my email. Yahoo is a pretty basic thing that most people use, I assume and i was informed that you cannot use it at any of the Kinko’s now. Can’t they post a simple sign? This place is useless to me now and forever. I work on the road and don’t always have access to a scanner. I was pleased to see that they now have them. But not with Yahoo mail! Ridiculous, unhelpful waste of time. To their credit they did refund the five dollars without any problem.

Fedex Kinko’s may not be the best or the cheapest place to meet your printing needs when compared to smaller businesses. It is however one of the more convenient options with several locations and easy to use self-​serve options. I’ve been to this location several times to get printing done for my band. The staff is always very friendly, helpful, and sometimes make me laugh. They do their best to meet my needs without charging me up the ass, and make sure I get exactly what I want without charging extra.
Most of these complaints appear to be based on the way the corporation or other parties outside of this location handle business, but the customer service is always great!

I give them two stars because my package actually arrived. Also, there was 2 friendly people working.
Minus 1 because my package arrived after the 2day service I paid for (which was excessive to begin with)
Minus another for charging me a handeling fee that was not mentioned to me if HE took my item out of my package and into another. All that was said was «I’ll take care of that for you no worries»
Minus another for not having good customer service after I asked why I was being charged more. I would have appreciated someone saying“my apologies for over charging you, let me refund you the 10 extra dollars since you were not aware that me switching packages is 10 extra dollars.” I also paid for the new packaging.
I don’t ask for much just some responsibility when someone screws up.

Cool. You can print, cut, copy, ship, and craft to your heart’s/wallet’s content (s).
Suggestion to the staff, which I guess would be a suggestion to corporate, would be to lay off of the sales pitch at the end of a transaction. I don’t need an $ 8 bottle of iPhone cleaner. I don’t need a flash drive that’s 25% off. I don’t need ANOTHER pad of neon sticky-​notes.
People come to this place to take care of printing and shipping needs. If they wanted the frivolous gear adorning the walls, they’d grab it themselves.

Went here to ship a package and the person who helped me was energetic and friendly. I don’t know how you can be energetic about shipping packages, but whatever. She was also clear on the shipping speed/​price options. The store is clean, but you can tell the interior is aging. Not that I care much about how my FedEx store looks. Good experience overall.

Screw you fedex! $ 50+ to ship an ID overnight and it took 4 days and copious amounts of horse-​crap and dealing with mental midgets to get it at all. Spent hours driving around Portland because no one could figure out where my package went, including the customer care line. NEVER EVER AGAIN! No reason that it shouldn’t have been delivered in the first place. It was sent to an indoor apartment, upstairs. Could have been slipped under the door. Could have been left under the door mat. Could have been left with a neighbor. Could have been left at the rental office. It DID NOT require a signature. Did any of that happen? NOPE. I would rather shotgun myself in the face with rock salt then use fedex again. I will gladly pay more for anything else.

The staff here has always been very nice and long-​lived. They are generally much more helpful than other fedex spots in the surrounding area.

Dude seriously it’s time for a new paper cutter. The current one is more chewed up than your average 82^nd ave ‘lady of the night.’

Well, let’s just start by saying I don’t write Unilocal reviews. Yet I really feel like this is a well kept secret for West siders, and they deserve some love. From printing my 100 page thesis to sending bags of bagels/​laptops/​care packages, this store has never let me down. They’re prompt, there’s never a line and every person I’ve spoken with is helpful and sincere. I will probably never go to a post office again unless for some bizarre reason I can’t make it here. Thanks for making a stressful activity a peaceful one, guys.

It is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma; but perhaps there is a key. That key is not found in Kinko’s self-​serve card kiosk.
For the last year or so, I’ve been lured into this lair of toner and laminating for various paper craft related obsessions. The pricing rivals our nations tax code in it’s complexity. Some things are cheaper when paid for with a self-​serve card. But you cannot pay for all things with the self-​serve card. Want a receipt for these transactions? Well, I have to refund the total balance of the self serve-​card, have you fill out this form while standing on one foot. Shit, is it Wednesday? Sorry. We can’t sell lavender card stock on Wednesday unless you pay the troll toll. You want to laminate that? Let me get a manager. She’s taking her break in the third circle of hell.
The staff do what they can to make migraine inducing systems some-​what tolerable.
The equipment is certainly not top-​of-​the-​line. It all seems to function adequately, save for the tiny ink jet printer in the computer lab. Streaks. All over my resume. Splotches. All over my Cthulu paper dolls.
It’s 2010. Why does paper even exist anymore? And don’t even get me started on fax machines. What ever asinine project brings you here will get taken care of. You may just acquire a few gray hairs in the process.

I understand why so many of the FedEx Kinko’s in Portland have such crap reviews — my own local shop in Shasta County is staffed by the kind of slacker, give-​a-​shit people who ooze «I don’t want to help you» from every pore. This seems to be the norm in the Portland area, if you believe the reviews.
But: I needed ten 3′ x 4″ color posters printed out and mounted on foam board for some public meetings in Seattle, and I needed to have the job done in Portland, in less than 24 hrs, so that I could pick them up on the way. And this was on a weekend. No problem — they were ready at 9:00 AM on Sunday, and they looked great.
Thanks, guys. You kicked ass, and I really appreciate it.

They got my order finished 2−½ hours before it was promised to be done… which meant I got to turn in my final early… and go home early. That’s 3 stars right there.
Aside from that, good location near the max and a friendly staff who actually explained everything they were putting in front of me to sign. I can’t complain.
