Loooooooong wait, bad service. Waited for 20 minutes with four other people with no one upfront. Finally a lady comes from the back and is so slow like a slug. Saturday’s are busy days for people, I can’t spend half a day waiting.
At the end, I spent 45 min just to pick up a package. Nuts!

I have to say, FedEx is not overly helpful as a company due to their long estimated delivery times (I’d even settle for a four hour window, thus I give three stars for FedEx and five stars for location). This particular location was especially helpful with delivery of my new iPad Air 2 that I had delivered. I had called explaining to them that the apartment building has buzzers and that they are unable to come into the building where the mailboxes are without a key. So I requested that they bus my apartment and I would come down right away. The first day I missed it due to my husband giving me a ride to work. I tried calling the 1−800# to see if I could get some kind of estimate besides ‘before 8pm’ for which I was told it can sometimes even be later (=/​) Then a few minutes later I got a call from Carol, and she was much more helpful letting me know it will probably be around 12 – 1 pm. Lone and behold I got the buzz at about 12 and received my new iPad! I am now off to prepare my iPad to use as a mini laptop for my online class!

I sat by the window waiting for a very important delivery the day before a holiday weekend. Obsessively hitting refresh on the tracking page, suddenly it said the driver had attempted delivery with no answer. What?! There hadn’t been Fed Ex truck in sight all day…
Thankfully I had the day off, and could run to the HQ in North Portland in terrible rush hour traffic, to meet the truck at 5 pm.
Just the worst.

Awful. Went in to get some pictures printed on regular paper. Needed them blown up to 10×10. It was as if they had never been asked this before. The woman was very confused because 10×10 didn’t fit on their regular sized paper. When I asked if they had bigger paper she stretched out my photos to fit the 11×17 sized paper. I asked her to redo it as a 10×10 and confusion surfaced again. It seemed like no one in the store was trained in anything printing.
The man who seemed to be the manager said he would take over and to come back in one hour. Came back and half of the photos were all pixilated and he said it was because I gave him bad photos. Why didn’t they call and say something or say something before I left?
They just generally acted as if I was interrupting their day by using their service. Also didn’t seem like they knew what they were doing.
Go somewhere else!

I just wanted to give a «shout out» and thank Jayme P. at your North Portland FedEx Ship Center (North Port Center Way), who went above and beyond to help me pack up a toaster oven. Not only was Jayme pleasant and patient, she offered numerous box choices for me, even helping pack the box (a «customer box» that I purchased), to minimize damage in shipment. She ran back to the warehouse to get a few choices for me and even helped me tape up my shipment! While I was there, she also helped no less than three other customers get what they needed. She offered apologies for things she could not help (someone’s package was supposed to be on hold, but got sent out for delivery anyway), and quickly went about rectifying situations that she could. She did all of this with a pleasant smile and demeanor. I appreciate agents who look for answers when there are questions they don’t have answers for. Jayme did what she could to not only help the customer but learn how to better help other customers in the future. Thank you Jayme, and thank you FedEx for employing people like her!

I ordered a pair of shoes from FamousFootwear, and they sent it via FedEx. I was super stoked, my new work shoes would arrive the day of going on shift. I was heady with the feeling of comfortable sneakers and all that. Day of. no arrival, and a notice that I had refused delivery.
Strange. I was home the entire day, oh and lest I forget I paid extra so that FedEx would know to hit the manager office button so the driver could be buzzed inside.
Customer service seemed oblivious to this, and apparently could not just ship the order to my local fedex office for pickup. No, I had to go across town, over the hill, through the vale, to Hayden Island to pick up a pair of shoes.
Never again. I’m not dealing with the lack of service again from this company.

We took morning off to receive this very important package. We gave instructions to office to call as soon as package arrived. However the driver took the fast route and just left a «unable to release» door sticker rather than opening the door to talk with office staff.
This driver needs further training on customer service. What a lazy person!

wow, yet another stellar job by fed ex. i paid $ 25 to have a small watch shipped from England. Yeah, i knew they needed a signature and i wasn’t home but i have an actual life to attend to and occasionally that entails leaving my home. fed ex attached a form to my door requesting signature and stating that they would attempt delivery again. so i am thinking within 24 hours. oh heck no! i guess they want to go goof off for memorial day weekend so the email i received in regards to re attempt said not until may 28^th, 5 days later. why would anyone ever pay $ 25 for shipping to have something delivered 10 days later? may as well just use the post office and save money. of course they did their usual song and dance on the phone about how i could pick it up. again, paying fed ex $ 25 only to have to pack up a 5 and 2 year old in the car and drive out to their facility to chase down a tiny package is not a reasonable request from them to me.
lesson learned, don’t pay extra for fed ex!!!

I am absolutely LIVID. FedEx customer service is so unhelpful. I got a door tag for attempted delivery that did not require signature. They should have left it in my apt office, but they didn’t. I called that night and talked to customer service and asked them to redeliver next day to apt office. They showed up before the office was even open. I call back and they said the driver would try to redeliver at 5, of course when my office closes. Then they say I can pick it up at the service center after that, but NO ONE else can pick it up but me. This is my plane ticket to fly to Texas tomorrow to pick up my 3 year old. It’s a big fucking deal, and they seemed totally unwilling to accommodate me. They wouldn’t give me the service centers number, they never were able to get ahold of the driver, nothing. If I don’t get my ticket today heads are going to roll. Guess its time to call the airlines and plead with them.

I like to shop online. As a matter of fact, our uniforms for work are all ordered online and shipped to our home. It seems like it should be a fairly simple process, right? Most of the time, not.
I try to place orders when I know that I will be home when a shipment is expected to be delivered. Let’s face it, it’s a pain in the neck to drive out to the shipping facility to pick up your items after several failed delivery attempts. I do that as a last resort.
So, when I get the email with the tracking number and expected delivery date, I make sure I stay home all day the day the package is to be delivered. How many times do I actually have my apartment buzzed to let me know that the driver is downstairs? Maybe a third. If I don’t hear anything, but 2 PM or so, I check the front door for a sticker. Usually it says there has been an attempt made to deliver, or that my package was left with the building manager. The building manager has told me that the driver in our area will often leave a bunch of packages with her rather than ringing individual residents. He has told her that he does this. That’s a pain in the neck for her, and us. Other times when the package hasn’t been left for me, I have called Fed Ex, and had the driver come back. I let them know that I was never buzzed, and sure enough, he will come back, and actually ring the buzzer.
I guess my point here, I choose UPS when I have the choice. «It’s better with the Brown». Don’t mess around with Fed Ex if you don’t have to.

Warning: This review is a rant of some sort of my horrible experience with FedEx.
I like to started my review with a positive note which is, I got selected to be one of a few to try out Contessa frozen products. It would be about 10 new products and I was so thrilled. Too bad, FedEx came and crushed my happiness. So the review begins…
The nice lady from Contessa frozen products called and confirmed my address. She said I should get my package by Wednesday. Wednesday came, I was excited, I kept my cell phone very close to me so when FedEx driver used the buzzer, I could just buzzed him in and received my package.
Towards middle afternoon, the Contessa customer service called and said that the driver said the address is incorrect. She read me my address and that’s exactly my address. Couple hours went by, she called me back and said the driver called her again and said no one’s at home and left a door tag. Wow, that’s weird, my phone didn’t ring. There’s no FedEx driver called and asked to be buzzed in. I checked my apartment front door, there’s no door tag. I spoke with the Contessa customer service again and explained to her that I didn’t receive any door tag or any driver tried to deliver anything.
Thursday came and I thought well I would get my package today. WRONG. I left a note on the door for the driver to use the intercom so I could buzzed him in or call my cell phone. Guess what he did? He wrote on my note, «We don’t carry cell phone.» OH MY GOD, I wanted to strangle someone. The intercom is right there next to the door. But, this time, he left me a door tag. I called FedEx outraged, they said they got my last name wrong. They had Aria instead of Tirta. I told the customer service that my name is Tirta. He said he fixed it and will send the driver. The driver never showed up. I called FedEx again and a different customer service tried to help me, but she kept saying that I missed the delivery time and I should picked the package up at the FedEx facility. I said, HELL TO THE NO. I told her, there’s an intercom that the driver has to use to let me know that he’s here. Why UPS drivers can use the intercom, but FedEx couldn’t?
She said she will send the driver again and left a note saying to use intercom. The driver never showed up. 5 pm pacific time, I called FedEx again and asked what’s going on and they said that the name on the shipment is MARIA ARIA and not OLIVIA TIRTA even though Contessa frozen product did give them my correct name and address. Insert foul foul language here. I told FedEx to go to hell and I WILL NEVER NEVER USE FedEx EVER again.
So, I didn’t get my freebies. I didn’t get to write reviews about new products. I got frustrated and yelled at two FedEx customer service. The products is going back to Contessa. At the end of the day, all I got is a headache and high blood pressure. Use FedEx at your own risk and hopefully you won’t get what I got.
