The best mocha I have ever had. Not too sweet, not too chocolate-ty, still nice taste of coffee!

I want to like this coffee shop but the problem is that there are often people outside smoking. On a nice day, I enjoy sitting in their outside tables but when I see their employees outside, leaving their cigarette butts lit, the smoking blowing towards me, then I wonder about their hygiene.

Good coffee shop. Stumbled on this place while waiting to get a seat at gravy for breakfast. Ordered 2 americanos and both came out fast, hot, and flavorful. Very friendly service. Menu was unclear(no sizes/shots listed).Needs more comfortable seating and ambience to make it 5 stars. Come here for a good cup of coffee on your way somewhere.

Loved the old worn down décor and«keeping Portland weird» atmosphere here. They serve Stumptown coffee and have a few baked goods and muffins. The coffee was good, the baked treat was good, would come back again.

The hot chocolate should be called hot cream. … I do not recommend getting the hot chocolate.

My travel companions and I found ourselves on Mississippi on a Sunday morning, hoping to grab a meal at one of the food stands. Alas, it was pouring cats and dogs, and eating in an outdoor setting was just not going to work out. Since it was just 11AM and our brains were not yet functional, we decided to wander up the street to find coffee and wake up before deciding what we wanted to do next. Fresh Pot was the first café we came across, so in we went. We were able to snag a table for three pretty easily. I got a regular coffee to drink while there. It cost $ 1.75 and came with one free refill. They brew using Stumptown beans, so it’s a pretty decent cup of coffee. It definitely did its job in terms of waking us up! The free wifi was also very useful(and it was pretty fast internet), and tons of people around us were getting an early start on work for the day. Definitely seemed like a good place to come hang out and be productive over some cups of joe.
Quintessential quirky Portland coffee shop. Great solid coffee and a cool atmosphere.

Really good coffee(Stumptown), cute shop and nice staff. I always seem to come by when they’re closing, but the guy(with glasses) is nice enough to get me my coffee fix. I may have to come in here during the work day and enjoy a little snackie snack, too.

As I was walking down Mississippi I saw«Fresh Pot» and giggled to myself. The wood floors guided me into this cool coffee shop. I got a macchiato that was fantastic and had beautiful heart. Their cold brew is on point as well. Needless to say I needed some coffee. I highly recommend for a cup of coffee before you stroll down Mississippi.

This place has great coffee and they make it fast. I usually get a latte or americana and have yet to be disappointed. They have fun artwork around the place and the staff is really friendly.

Coffee is good, hip place for coffee. Only one setback — the guy at counter who takes the orders(light blondish brown short wave hair) was hands down just rude! …didn’t say hi nor did he say thank you after I made my order. The biggest issue was I had ordered a Americano and didn’t hear what he said… I said«im sorry I didn’t hear what you said»., he proceeded to snap at me and yelled«SMALLMEDIUMORLARGE! That will be 2.75! «was short, rude and snooty… and as I used my card swung the screen to me in a F YOU! Moment reluctantly I gave him a dollar tip., didn’t want a surprise in my coffee… for that reason I will not be going back… fire the idiot! It made for a bad experience.

Great atmosphere! Lovely Baristas! Tasty and refreshing offerings(we ordered ‘off-menu’ and had a for here Cold Brew and a Thyme Infused Black Tea). We’ll be back to try more — this could easily become a five-star review!

Good strong coffee, and if you get a cup to stay it comes with one free refill. We also got two GOOD toasted bagels, a sesame and an Italian herb, which was better. I’m from the east coast and I judge a bagel hard. We sat next to the window and read the newspaper. Before 9 am they had on some kinda slow rockabilly music and there were 2 or 3 other people there. Once the morning started rolling they turned on some top 40 and it got a little crowded. Very nice place to sit and spy on trendy window shoppers.

Fresh Pot is just down the street from The Big Egg, so it’s the perfect spot to grab a coffee while you’re waiting for your finely-crafted breakfast sandwich. Their iced latte was pretty good; not too milky and just enough punch in the espresso.

We have done New Coffee Sunday on 22 past Sundays. Today, it was Fresh Pot on Mississippi. All three members of our coffee klatch voted unanimously that Fresh Pot rated a perfect 5 out of 5 stars in all aspects. Coffee, ambiance, service, food offerings and quality… Kicks balls and ass!

This is a cute coffee shop that serves Stumptown coffees and pastries along with giant murals of art on the walls which are ever changing. This time I went it was sketched faces of strangers. I feel like the art(depending on what it is) definitely gives this place a different kind of feel. This is one of those places they would definitely remember your name. They have cute animals stamped on their cups!

FIVESTARSFROMME! HERE’S WHY: 1. This particular location is on Mississippi Avenue, my favorite area of Portland when I visit 2. Stumptown Roasters 3. Creative/Cool Punch Cards 4. Cool Cups(The Elephant Design) Among other common café amenities: free wifi, latte art, etc. No lie, this place is always my go-to café in Portland.

Fresh Pot seemed like another typical Portland coffee shop where all cups of coffee are small and easily cost over $ 3.50. It’s no wonder they’re able to survive against Starbucks. I ordered a mocha and it tasted great. It was also nicely decorated — coffee art will never get old. At the end of the day though, it was still just a typical coffee shop with few choices. This place didn’t feel too special even if they had some trippy art on the walls.
