I usually don’t take the time to write these reviews but I had to in this case because the service was excellent. Kim the owner took really good care of us and our car. We thought we had an oil leak and was fearing the worse but ended up not being the case. Did need a small repair which ended up running $ 125 with labor and some discounts which wasn’t bad at all. Kim knows his stuff and also the other kid that works with him, didn’t catch his name. This will be my go to spot with any issues that I end up having with my ride.

I love hanging out with the guys over at Gearheads Motorworks. I started taking my 95 Toyota Tacoma here two years back and I haven’t been to another mechanic since. These guys have a vast breadth of knowledge on all makes and models and will do any service needed weather you need a simple oil change or an entire engine rebuild, these guys will do it right. I’ve had them take on many tough repairs on my truck including replacing the break booster, upgrading the suspension system and axles, replacing the transmission, straightening out a crooked piece of the frame and many other small maintenance jobs both cosmetic and mechanical and it’s all done right the first time with solid skill and professionalism. They often build and custom paint cars and trucks from the ground up as well. If cars and trucks aren’t enough, they also service motorcycles, mopeds, motorized scooters and pocket bikes.
Their front office is very nice and filled with custom-​made motor bikes they’ve built and refurbished. From the moment you get on the phone with Kim, the owner, you get the best personable friendly treatment you can only find from a locally owned two-​man business. I’ve had some fantastic conversations with these guys about engines and the world. They always get me good deals on parts and they never fix something without educating you on the problem and getting your permission first. Good honest local mechanics that love making engines run smooth.

Having purchased a vehicle about a year and a half ago, I was in need of some repairs. When you have too take that leap of faith and decide on a quality mechanics definitely fit the bill. The business model is sound, taking great care of the customer. Step by step issues were presented to me, via pictures on text, saving me tons of back and forth time. He was non pressuring and always gave me the option of repairing or not. They have descent rates and really good turn around time. If you need a mechanic and find yourself feeling fearful and overwhelmed, give these guys a call.

I recently had my 2^nd visit to Kim Costello’s awesome little shop and received the same stellar attention to detail as the first time. Kim and Robert took a look at my manifold & exhaust issue within an hour’s notice. My manifold was repaired for a very fair price, under the original quote and my car runs better than ever. Sweet!

Hans has been our auto mechanic for years and is a great guy. His skill is matched by his integrity, meaning he does great work and he doesn’t fix things that don’t need fixing. I recommend him highly!
