I’m sitting in here right now while my partner is getting her hair cut. I’m listening to the hair dresser talk to her in a condescending way and not listen to what she is requesting. She’s talking over her and telling her that what she wants won’t look good. Like she knows what my partner thinks«looks good». She wants a unique cut– yes, this is true. But the hair dresser seems to not have the skills or patience to do it. I want to get up and just take her to bishops or somewhere with more of a current knowledge of hair. Now she’s giving her advice that she didn’t ask for about what she uses on her hair(baking soda, apple cider vinegar, and coconut oil). She sounds very critical and is saying things that are simply not true about hair. Gross. Did these people even go to school? I guess it’s just the one person being annoying, but that’s why I’m giving 2 instead of 1.

I’ve been a fan of Great Clips for many years. I first became a customer there back when I lived in Montana and was so impressed with their great customer service and terrific work. When my husband and I moved to Portland, one of the first things I did was look up the nearest Great Clips. I’ve been coming here for awhile now and they never cease to impress me. Toshia is fantastic! She is super sweet and very good at what she does. I get a lot of compliments on my hair(especially after a cut) and always refer people to Great Clips. Thanks, Great Clips, for making me look and feel good! :)

Really? You have no idea what a pompadour is? I thought you had to graduate from some form of a «beauty school.» Screw you Great Clips at Mall 205.

I’ve been going to Great Clips off and on for nearly 6 years and with the last hair cut that I got and the last hair cut my son got, I’ll either find a barbershop or go back to shaving my head. I’ve only had a few cuts where I was really happy. A majority of the time I walk out, get home, shower the hair away and then look at my hair and say, «well, that was a waste of money». The last two times I was in, Kelli(with an «I») cut my hair. She gave me the worst hair cut I have ever received. It was uneven all over the top and on the sides and back it had big clumps of hair that were longer than the rest. When my son got home from getting his hair cut by Kelli(with an «I»), he found that the top was jagged and uneven and that he had a clump of hair on the side near the back of his head that looked like it wasn’t even trimmed. At this point, I see no reason to ever return to not-so-Great Clips. My recommendation: If Kelli(with an «I») is cutting hair, give a chimpanzee a set of clippers and let it go to town. Trust me, it won’t be any worse.

Nothing special here, just popped in cause I needed a trim bad. Couldn’t get to my usual joint. «The barbers» My hair cutter kept helping other customers while in the middle of my hair cut, Jeeze! Can you finish mine first please? They haven’t figured out yet that a vacuum keeps the hair from going down the back of your neck. Just blew it all around with the hair dryer. Looks like its itchy back all day :(the more customers that walk in the door the faster she started cutting my hair. Then the obvious sales pitch at the end to buy some of their over priced hair care products from the shelf. I’m sure they get paid commission on that. I won’t be seeking out a great clips in the future.

I usually go to salons for haircuts, but since my hair was looking awkward as hell and I’m broke, I decided to go to Great Clips. My boyfriend went there before and got mixed results. The first time was great(probably the best haircut he had), second one was meh, third one was alright. I got a trim since I’m growing my hair out, and I really like how my hair looks. The stylist(I didn’t catch her name) was super nice and asked me throughout the cut if I liked how it looked and whatnot. My hair is definitely not looking awkward as hell right now. And for $ 14 for a haircut, that’s pretty awesome.

Yes, ’tis true. I get my hair cut at Great Clips. Never thought that would happen. BUT I will say that I was referred to an amazing hair stylist by the name of Shalou, and she just transferred to this location(Mall 205). It’s $ 13 unless you have a coupon, and she’s not only sweet, but she does a fabulous job and never screws up. I get the exact same haircut that I’d get down the street for less than half the price. So how can I go wrong? I am heartbroken that I’ll have to find a new stylist in Seattle. I’m almost tempted to come see her every two months for a trim :(

After 6 years since it first opened, I am still one happy customer. This is the only Great Clips location that I will go to. The hair stylists that have been cutting my hair since 2003 are still there to this day. They always have a big smile when I walk in the door. Big shout outs to Heather, Becky, and Charles. These peeps are the only ones who I trust with my hair. I never need to tell them or remind them what I want. Keep up the great work!
