Green Leaf Sundry

It’s very convenient but pretty pricey. I work in this building so I often find myself in there. A can of soda will cost you about $ 1.50 (if not more!) but there aren’t many other options nearby so it works out.

Typical store in the building business that serves for the working people at the classy Koin Center. It has everything except a Slurpee Machine and a Oregon Lottery machine.
They have sandwiches and other hot meals. There’s no kitchen but they do have a microwave which I call «Chef Mike» (Microwave…get it, mic). I like their tuna fish sandwich, $ 5.95 and it’s not bad. A good amount of it too. They also have a panini press and a toaster and on occasions daily specials like curry chicken and other stuff.
What irks me is that people have to pay a fee for the charge card. Isn’t that a contract violation between the merchant and the bank? However the plus side is they do discount if you use cash… which I’m loaded with.
Like I said, it’s a little store in the building. However what they do need to improve on is replacing the empty boxes that used to have a candy or a bag of peanuts. I counted way to many empty boxes. There are 4 empty boxes at the counter while you wait for your sandwich, it’s the same empty boxes from two weeks ago and three weeks ago, and three months ago.
Prices are not bad at all.
