Service was okay. We had occasional outages, which could usually be fixed by a call to them with «free 24 hour technical support available». It’s a good deal for someone who lives in a rural area due to the unlimited data usage. The biggest problem was when I moved to an area where they don’t provide service. I was hit with a $ 300 early termination fee! This should be waived, or at least reduced, when GTEK is not even an option at the new residence!

They change the due date unilaterally. No, they don’t need anybody’s consent to change the contract (sarcasm). The new date is different than the bill paying cycle for most people (the end of the month). If you don’t pay by their unilaterally imposed date (the 25th) even though you pay within a few days of that day and before the end of the month, they impose a large late charge (20%). It is draconian and probably not legal. The people are nice and the service is OK, but the billing policy is asinine and again probably not legal.

GTEK is a great locally based internet service provider. we love that we are able to have high speed internet at our nearby ranch. The best part is no data cap and 10 times the speed versus satellite providers. I would recommend GTEK to anybody looking to get high speed Internet

Have had them a year, i have to reset my service every thirty minutes then when i call them they say i need all new equipment but i will have to pay for it ! What? I just got all of this stuff!!! Bad service
