Gyros ‘N Grill provides a convenient location for Greek food in Pioneer Place. There are tables all over the food court, where it is to be found, including near some elegant fountains. This is among several niches in the food court since there is also Cajun and Hawaiian cuisine. I had bad memories of this place, but I wanted to give it another shot. This time around, it was a lot better. For $ 9.50 I got a gyro plate with a soda. The fries were crispy and even had a proper spice. The pasta salad was exquisite. My gyro had tender meat. I’ve had gyros that are concurrently cheaper and better. Zeus is pleased.

I am addicted to the lamb Gyros sandwiches here. They are always good when I am there, usually between 12:00 and 2:00. Sometimes I get the platter with the potatoes and green salad. Maybe some day I will branch out and get something besides the Gyros, but I like them so much it will be a hard thing to do.

HORRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE. I wanted a gyro with hummus and pita as a side. The guy said«Do you want the pita on the side?» And i said yes. He said«U sure?» I said ya he said«That’s a lot of pita bread for one person with the gyro!» He was very condescending and rude.

I had the gyros with lamb. The guy was nice. I payed 5,50 $ and i think the prize is ok for what you get.

I like this place. The guy working the counter offered me the lemon chicken to try, ended up getting that with some potato wedges and cucumber salad,(which was just cucumbers seeded, diced big in the yogurt seasoned sause, but I liked it). It’s food court food, but was simple, easy, clean, had flavor. Felt like I was eating healthy with the cucumbers :). My 3 is more like a 3 plus, would go back indeed.

very solid food, one of the few places in portland where i can get a decent gyro for a reasonable price. The lamb has a very nice texture and taste. What is also pretty nice about this place is its Chinese blend of cuisine. Im chinese and its always pretty nice to get some great quality lemon chicken chinese style. The food is made fast and is super convenient. I would highly recommend to any greek food lovers and even those who like chinese food

I never have high hopes for mall food, but this one is probably the worst mall food I have ever had. In rushing around to get things done, I begrudgingly got a falafel. The falafel balls were dry and crumbled in my mouth. Not a good sign. The sauce tasted more like mayo than hummus. I should have gone anywhere else for a quick bite in the mall. This place is super disappointing!

wow. what a waste of a meal. I needed to grab something quickly and it looked like a decent option. I like gyros and was kind of craving a chicken one so I decided to give it a try. I went up to order and the guy handed me a piece of fried chicken on a toothpick that he wanted me to try(was this a greek place or Panda Express?) I told him I wanted a chicken gyro and he asked me if I wanted the fried chicken in it? no, I told him, I want what is supposed to come in it. he scooped some other type of chicken(I think it was called honey chicken) on top of a pita and threw some overripe lettuce and tomato on top of that and wrapped it up. I tried really hard to eat it, but the chicken was super fatty and greasy and the veggies on it just tasted off. I ended up throwing it in the trash and grabbing a chicken sandwich at Carl’s Jr.(which was a billion times better). thinking about it is kind of making me nauseous. avoid this place! there are better options and I really wish I had picked one of them instead of wasting $ 5 on one of the most disgusting things I’ve ever put in my mouth.

4 solid stars for Gyros and Grills. I usually hit up this place every time the Lady wants to go to Pioneer Place. about 5 $ for a lamb gyro. Ohhhhh sooo delicious! The long haired, mean looking asian dude hooks it up, slicing generous amounts of that bomb lamb meat from the spit. Hmmmmmmm! Tip: You must request onions if you want it in your gyro. Skip the platter option or any other sides. It’s all gross. I think I’ll stop by tomorrow for lunch and peruse the over price shit @ the apple store. I’ll check in from there and tell you guys how my latest visit went. Haha

I was downtown over lunch time with my daughter and a friend and needed a kid friendly place to eat. We decided the food court would be the best option. I ordered the chicken gyros with the potato wedges and a side of tabouli and dolmas. The food was fine, but some of it seemed like it had been sitting around a little too long. That was the last meal I ate for the day until later that afternoon I started feeling ill. I just spent the entire night last night vomiting my brains out with the worst case of food poisoning I have had outside of a case of ameobic dysentary I picked up in Mexico. I never give one star reviews but this place deserves it. Gross.

I was sitting around kabobing my own meat the other day and I thought to myself«this is dumb, someone has already kabobed meat somewhere, just go find it.» Well needless to say i didn’t find anything, but I did make it into work on time. So I’m at work and lunch time rolls around, and how convenient that the Pioneer Place Mall is right across the street with their many fine choices of food at the food court. As usual I usually end up at Gyros N’ Grill because I have an unnatural affection for Greek food(and the people too, I love ‘em). So this is a review of that place. It is pretty pricey, but so is that whole dang mall man. I tried to buy a pack of laderhousen and was forced to pay a dang crabapple(40 dollars) for one pair! Anyway, it is pricey, but I usually get the gyro platter, which offers two choices of sides. I usually reject that offer and get two sides of their pasta salad(one because their potato pies aren’t that good and two the pasta salad is darn good and has lots of parmesane cheese which I like. I don’t think paramsen is necessarily greek and that bothers me a little bit, but i like it a lot so I don’t hold it against them). The gyro isn’t the biggest turd I’ve ever eaten, but the proportions are all a-mess and their vegetables were fresh last year. They have a healthy dose of tzasiki or however you spell it, and that is nice, but that’s about it. I mean if you work where I work(which I don’t think you do, otherwise you are absent a lot, or we work opposite shifts) it is pretty convenient, but other than that I say, steer clear. There is this great cart(when the Irish aren’t celebrating some dude named Patrick) over on 2nd and oak that blows this place out of the water in terms of the gyro, and it is a little cheaper and more filling(no pasta salad though, bummer huh? can’t have everything in this world, my mother taught me that when I asked for a knife to cut my meat). You moisturize, I can tell. It’s working for you, keep it up!

I think Gyros and Grill is own by the same owner as Cajun Grill next door. People that work Gyros and Grill wear same shirts as the Cajun Grill peeps. What’s even more weird is now they serve some of the chicken dishes like the Cajun place! Gyros and American Chinese style chicken dishes are next to each other hand in hand. I always get the Gyros platter without the pita bread. I always ask for steam white rice, lamb meat, and one of the salads. The last time I asked for the grape leaves and it was not fresh. Those grape leaves were hard and they weren’t tasty. Besides grape leaves aside, the lamb is always excellent here. This is one of the better option that they have at the Pioneer Place food court. Much better than McKiddies and regular Chinese American fast food.

This place has the best Gyros I’ve ever tasted in my entire life!!! If they had a the tenderest lamb in a pita I’ve tasted since I’ve been eating Gyros! I got two, one for me and one for my friend and it was less than $ 12 bucks!!!
