Just say no! Go somewhere else, If you ever have to choose this hotel This hotel was just astonishing. The treatment as well as discrimination toward me and my disability, as well as the unprofessionalism of the management. Rude behavior as well as not representing himself in professional attire wearing a football jersey. Boasting a name tag and he was the assistant manager. But I learned his attire also reflected his poor attitude, left the stench in the air almost as bad as the chemicals they were using to renovate The bathrooms on the upper floors where they seem to think it would be convenient for someone to sit there and get a headache from. For $ 150 a night. When I complained I got an attitude when I checked in I was discriminated against because of my service animal. Asking what the dog is for and what was my disability.

They offer delicious breakfast with several hot options. And they offer free cookies tea coffee and fruits all day long!
The room and Lobby is clean and new. And the service is very good! I would like to stay there again

I was a little cautious when we arrived at this Hampton, as it looked like an older one which means it can be hit or miss. I was, however, pleasantly surprised at how nice and clean this Hampton is — it actually looks like they just fully renovated it, and I mean the whole thing. Plus it was also strange there is only one way (literally one drive) in and one out, we missed it twice and kept having to turn around.
The folks that work here were incredibly nice, particularly the guy who works the swing shift and checked us in. He was super amazing getting us settled in and sharing all kinds of great information. Of course you get the standard hot breakfast in the morning, and I loved that they had their signature Robust Coffee out (AND Hot) at all hours. This Hampton also does an evening complimentary happy hour type thing which was cool. We did not partake but it smelled good.
The rooms are interesting — they are very «modern» and look to be focused on space saving. My room had no closet (was not an issue mind you) but it had these hanger spaces over by the window. It was very different, but not in a bad way. My room was really nice and very comfortable, great sleep quality. Only downside is – and this applies to a lot of hotels — the walls seemed paper thin, and I could hear the dude in the room next to me.

Would give 3.5 but can’t. It was a hotel. Room was almost spotless. Parking was available and breakfast was downstairs. There’s a pool and elevators.
Front desk lady was nice and helpful. No complaints there.
Breakfast could have been better. Only actually finished the OJ & coffee. But the leftovers I stored in the room fridge, heated up wonderfully in the room microwave. Still a win.

Quirky. It looks alike a renovated motel with parts updated and others not. Large room but no closet. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great jumping off point to go to Gorges. Lots of businessmen and retired couples during our stay.

Have you ever stepped into lilliput and felt like Gulliver? Come to this hotel for a two thirds experience at a four thirds price. The miniature tub had a ring around it foretelling the swampy grey water I stood in as I showered. In the foreshortened room, the lights pouring under the door from the hallway joined the 1980s green digital cable box display to keep the room well illuminated. On the plus side the HVAC unit did a credible job cooling the room. Much of this wouldn’t have been a problem if I had paid for a motel 6 room. This was $ 240 for a Hilton accomodation.

I love this place! I had a fire and have been staying here since January. This was my 2^nd choice but I had a terrible service experience at four points up the street so I thought I was settling… OH NO! Every employee here is amazing. Every day everyone says hi. Front fest, GM, housekeeping, maintenance every one! They talk to you! Beds are so comfy. They have an amazing breakfast each morning! But everyone is happy and friendly! That is the most important!
My husband is up the street at four points and has continued to have terrible service with everyone!
But here! fabulous! thank you for making my home away from home stay wonderful!

Great, quiet location at the same time being close to the freeway, clean room, free parking and wifi, great free breakfast that included hot items and a good variety. Too bad we only stayed here one night! The hotel was obviously going through a makeover in the lobby area, but whatever work was being done was done quietly and with no inconvenient obstructions to the guests. We would definitely stay here again if we need to come back to Portland.

Great room, great rates & friendly honest staff! Wife left her Kindle in the room when we checked out and housekeeping turned it in. We got a phone call about it before it was even missed!

Hampton Gresham, heated pool, staff was great and helpful, chocolate chip cookies, best shower, no negatives and clean roomsI would highly recommend this place and will stay here again when in town. Great place to stay out of the hustle of downtown portland.

AWESOME mid-​range hotel — this is by far THE BEST hotel outside of downtown Portland that we’ve stayed at. It is also in a handy location making it easy to take the I-​84 or Sandy BLVD to get into downtown or Cascade Station (food & shopping, right next to PDX) respectively.
While this hotel seems older (older style AC/​heat units in rooms & older cabinets in rooms), everything is meticulously clean and fresh. We were very happy that there was NO stale hotel smell in the halls (hey, we all know that weird old hotel hallway smell, right?)
The staff was OUTSTANDING. They took great care of us, always friendly and super helpful — one night around midnight i came down to the desk to break a $ 20 for the soda machine and the desk clerk went through all their $ 1s to make sure I’d have the best five to work in a vending machine LOL made my night! it’s all the little extra stuff the staff did rather than ‘just doing their job.‘
random but handy to us, we used the guest washer and dry ($ 1 ea) and our close came out of the dryer COMPLETELY DRY after one cycle rather than still damp! YAY!
stayed here with our family (kiddos included) and all in all fantastic! if you have the option to add the ‘pool party’ kit when you do the reservation for your kiddos, they give you a goodie bag of pool toys and snacks that just WOWed the kiddos even though it wasn’t ridiculously huge. :)

Excellent hotel just 10 miles from Downtown Portland. Just like with Art Y’s review, got to see that really nice African American man at the front desk. Very nice guy.
Room was very good, with DirecTV and dozens of HD channels, as well as a very nice bathroom (only problem was the bathtub was a little small), and a great relaxing shower! Our room view was out to NE 181^st and the traffic on I-​84 as well as the train traffic. The bed was fluffy and nice as well. No problems with the room at all, very clean. No bedbugs.
The pool is pretty much like Art’s review. Very warm and clean! The pool is not that deep (3 – 5 feet deep), which would be a good depth for a hotel pool. I remember one time I was in another hotel that had a depth of TWELVE feet at the end!
Breakfast was good, the waffles were nice, and they provided free 4oz Yoplait yogurts. Yum! Plus a free copy of The Oregonian and USA Today newspapers. Hopefully coming back soon!

Front desk was a courteous African American gentleman. He was helpful without me asking for it and certainly made me feel at home. Excellent!
Free breakfast: The breakfast had fresh and real scrambled eggs and real bacon. None of the fake stuffs offered at Best Western these days. Their breakfast quality was similar to Best Western during their heydays.
Pool: the pool is exquisitely clean and the water was actually warm so much so that when you get in the first time, it was not chilling to step in.
Conclusion: Good foods, good service and clean hotel — what more do I ask for? Best Western should re-​organize itself and see where they have slid to.

This is a nice Hampton Inn. It is just 15 minutes from the airport, next to Hwy 84. It has a great indoor pool w/​hot tub and decent but burr bold exercise room. The staff are great. The free breakfast is the standard HI menu. We appreciated that it is $ 20 — $ 50 cheaper that the hotels next to the airport. Unfortunately, they don’t provide a shuttle service to the airport unless you go for a «special» package.

Another great Hampton Inn. We needed a rood after getting a flat tire on Hwy 84. We called and we were lucky that there was a room available. The pool closed at 10:00 PM and the manager let the kids play until 11:00 The service from the morning staff was also great, we had breakfast and got back on the road. Again, another 5 star service package from the Hampton Hotel group.

Super cheap. Views from the rooms suck. Room is tiny, but big enough.

The staff working the front desk are very nice; especially one of the managers — loved her.
Pool and fitness center are also tiny. Fitness center doesn’t have much; an elliptical, tread mill, and bike machine as well as a cable-​weight machine thing.
House keeping is very persistent and quite irritating. If you don’t want any housekeeping service, be sure to put the do not disturb sign on the door. While I was sleeping, they would continuously POUND on the door, call the room, and kept coming back if no response. VERY, VERY, VERY irritating!!!
Overall, I liked it here.

Decent but looks a little tired.
Big enough room. Bathroom sink area a bit cramped. Lots of cable channels.
Free WiFi. Free USA Today. Free Newsweek.
Lobby has desktop PC with Internet access and printer.
