First off let me say that this is the same clinic as Montavilla Wellness Center. They just joined the Health Source Network. It’s the same people, the same great care.
I have seen Dr. Ramey off and on over the years with good result (otherwise, why would I keep going back?) But just recently I had an experience that I felt I had to tell people about.
I’d had a horrible headache for five straight days. I was miserable and thought it was allergy related. So, on day five I called my MD and made an appointment for the next day. The doctor says he believes it’s a muscle tension headache not allergies. So he gives me some medication that just sounds, um, scary? Take a lot but not too much and don’t stop suddenly plus may have addictive qualities.. . etc.
So I took those for 24hrs and had some relief. But then I thought if its muscular, wouldn’t a massage or chiropractor help as much or more than pills? So I went to see Dr. Ramey at Health Source of Portland East. (Montavilla Wellness Center).
He asked some questions, poked and prodded, and then did a quick adjustment. WOW! Literally five minutes after the adjustment my pain level had dropped HALF! The relief was amazing.
I have scheduled follow up visits and massage with his massage person. I will sing his praises on high.
I realize this is not normal results and I have seen Dr. Ramey before and always liked him and liked the results. In this case, the results were AMAZING. I just wish I hadn’t been dealing with the pain for a week before seeing Dr. Ramey.
