I don’t trust just anyone to look after my animals, but August & Sydney truly set my mind at ease! I left my 4 year old boxer in their care for 3 days and she was maybe even happier spending her vacation with them than if she was with me! She has separation anxiety and anxiety in general that we’re working on resolving & they dealt with this incredibly well! I think the amount of exercise they gave her and their grounded personalities kept her feeling very secure during her stay with Homeward Hound. They sent me updates when I asked (which I believe I requested all three days) including photos texted to my phone. She definitely had enough exercise! She’s not the simplest dog socially and she was properly integrated into their little pack (of two small dogs) so that everyone was happy being together. I schedule my life around my dog and knowing I have Homeward Hound to rely on really sets me free to make plans to go anywhere! Thank you for looking after my girl!

These guys are an incredible resource as well as dog-​care service! My Jack Russell mix not only has fear-​based agression issues but endless energy and general anxiety. August and Syd have not only been able to tend to his daytime needs several times a week but they have also answered questions and offered advice on many behavioral issues. Since we have used them, I’ve noticed my pup is more confident around people and I’ve become a more confident dog owner. I’m grateful for their flexibility and love for what they do! Couldn’t make a better recommendation!
