I wanted to see if they had a candle (Maison Louis Marie #4) in stock… went around 1 on a Friday and the door was locked. There was a guy inside, sitting behind a laptop, talking on the phone. He kind of shooed me away when I made the «are you open» motion. Cute Instagram HoC… too bad they don’t maintain their posted hours.

Stopped in to see what this new shop had to offer. Lots! Fell in love with several items. The owners, Delia and Katie, were very welcoming and seemed knowledgeable about the different designers/​artists/​labels carried. Love the idea of a revolving theme in a boutique setting.

House of Commons is a new store with a new strategy, of new!
Every two months, everything in the store changes on a new theme.
That means that if you visit, you need to revisit. And it also means that if you find something there, few others are likely to have.
When I visited they had apparel, books, body care, household items and more. Very beautifully curated. Good for gifts.
Visit this Division pioneer.
