11:30 wanted Jack and no one there to take my order even though they close the drive at midnight.

If you’re in a crappy blue collar industrial type area Jack’s there for you. NW Quimby, low-low SE Powell, this hellhole inthe ass end of Parkrose. If there’s a lot of service or delivery trucks and crappy pedestrian access, JITB wants to be there. The food is of course the same as every other of Jack’s colonies. You may not dig it, but I do. Especially the curly fries.

For fast food, this particular Jack In The Box is pretty exceptional… better than most fast food places, and better than most«Jacks» I’ve been to. The menu is standard Jack, but the service is exceptionally friendly, fast, and efficient. The food is always fresh, and they always get my order right. Plus, they’re cheap, even for a fast food joint. Gourmet food? Not at all, but if you need a quick, decent burger, this is a great place to visit on Airport Way.

I don’t usually eat fast-food but when I do, I try to come to this location when I can. I saw a TV commercial about their new Sirloin Burger, so I ordered one today. I was surprised how good it was despite of the fast-food quality. It’s «real» chunky ground beef with your choice of cheese and grilled onion. It aslo comes with bacons for an extra cost but I opted it out because I don’t need another 5000 calories add to my burger. For 5 dollars you can have yourself an «almost-gourmet» burger and don’t even think about comparing it with a BigMac and/or a Whopper. Plus, I come to this place because it’s not just an ordinary Jack In The Crak, it offers great customer service. I mean I don’t expect much from fast food places but the crews here have gone above and beyond for their customers.
