I was referred to JBlooms by a friend after I had given up on the idea that I could do my own arrangements for my wedding for less than the cost of a pro. I gave her my budget, colors, and showed a few pictures of arrangements I liked before I sat back to let her do her thing. I got a call from here a few days before the wedding to let me know that the dahlias had been wiped out by the huge rain storm but that she had some hydrangeas to fill the void. I was a little disappointed because hydrangeas felt to me like dated old lady flowers but what was I going to do, argue about something I had no control over? The bouquets were so beautiful that I didn’t miss the dahlias and even felt a little guilty for that moment of doubt.
Jessica created such beautiful, unique arrangements, bouquets, and boutonnieres for an affordable price and delivered them to my venue. If you want boring, cookie-​cutter arrangements I’m sure that she could do that for you but if you want something interesting that will rock your socks off, just give her a budget and let her go wild!

Whenever possible, I always try to use a local florist rather than a big box company. This week I needed to order flowers for my mother-in-law’s birthday. She lives in Portland, we live in Buffalo, so delivery was absolutely necessary. I did a search of florist which are close to her office, and jblooms was one of the results returned.
I emailed to see if delivery would be possible and was pleasantly surprised by the immediate response which I received. A couple back and forth emails to clarify exactly what we wanted to send and how much we wanted to spend, and it was taken care of.
Then I found out mother-​in-​law was taking her actual birthday off and wouldn’t be at work to receive the delivery, so I had to email again to see if it would be possible to move the delivery to the next day – ‘not a problem!’ was the response I received.
Got an email from a pleasantly surprised birthday lady the next day, along with a picture of a beautiful arrangement in a great vase. I will definitely be relying on jblooms for any future flower purchases for people in the area. Easily one of the best florist experiences I have ever had!

Nice and unique arrangements, well priced and delivered on time. The only quibble is that while the arrangements were delivered on time, the central flowers were not opened. Great if it is going to sit on your desk for a while, not so great for your one day event.

I Love using this place for unique and beautiful arrangements that I can actually afford. I have used about 10 floral designers in PDX and Jblooms is BY FAR the best and the most reasonable in cost. I have also been to her studio (its beautiful) and you can tell she loves what she does. Her desire to provide an amazing product just to see people smile when they get their flowers is a wonderful part to her business.
