Joy Pioneer Woman

The sculpture Joy is a worthwhile part of Council Crest Park. Much of it is explained in nearby metal. There is a bench in which to view this, while the park does not disappoint. This work can be found in the center.
This happened to find me when I was in the park for the view. I loved it. It shows a woman holding her child amidst the optimism of a new life out west. There is lots of joy as the title implies in the happy expression and realistic nature of this. Do note that what appears to be three drinking fountains on the sculpture are all non-​operational.
