My favorite drink is boba tea and this place is where I always go to get my drink. 4−5days a week :) They have fast service. The only one thing is now they praised the price I still love drinking boba tea here :)

Wow!!! It is true what they say … One of the best boba shops in town. They craft your drink to your desired level of sweetness or use Splenda. Taro with 6 packets of Splenda and egg pudding is heaven through a fat straw!!! My boo’s honeydew with strawberry jellies tasted like real fruit with the sweetness level dialed down a notch. Excellent customer service too… Karma Café will be my goto boba place when I’m in the east side!!!

Fantastic. Lots of flavors and you can put as many flavor of bobba pearls and jellies in there. The passion fruit was too sweet and we took it back to dilute and she happily made us a new one. Comfy ambiance. Coconut smoothie with bobbas is still the go to basic that is my favorite and they made it perfectly.

Great bubble tea! I got the Thai tea with boba and my husband got taro. We both liked that it is not overly sweet like some places make it. No complaints here!

This was great service! The girls are pretty nice and the bubbles are perfectly cooked. I’d go here over fat straw any day.

I don’t understand how this place has 4 stars. Their boba is adequate at best and their customer service is shit. The only reason why I come here is because their bubble tea tastes better than mojos but at least the workers at mojos look nice and welcoming.

Terrible customer service. Came in and we were told we’d have to wait 20 minutes for Boba because the person in charge of making Boba was plucking her friends eyebrows on one of the lounge chairs. After 25 minutes, the lady was annoyed that she had to stop doing what she was doing and work. She was sure to speak loud enough in saying«There are people waiting on me for Boba, I guess I should go back there.» But didn’t move, and just looked over at me and my friend. 35 minutes later I got my Boba. Unbelievable.

The taro boba was really good! I also tried honeydew, blueberry and coffee flavored. They weren’t very good, the blueberry tasted like children’s chewable Tylenol!

I’ve had plenty of bubble teas all over Portland, and I say that Karma has the best. Perfectly textured tapioca and delicious drinks. The coffee drinks are not bad, but not too spectacular. Only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is the service of one of the girls who works there, who has grayish silver hair. Extremely rude from all the times I’ve seen her there.

It’s likely I’m just super picky about my boba but it’s extremely hard to find nicely cooked, soft & chewy and not hard-in-the-middle boba. So I’m not sure if it’s because I’ve learned to set my expectations low for boba or what but I was pleasantly surprised by Karma. I had the thai iced tea which was great. Not too sweet and not too creamy, just the way I like it. And the bubbles were cooked well — yay! I also had a sip of the passion fruit slushy but could drink no further because of how darn sugary it was. It seemed to contain real fruit but I’m assuming they added syrup to sweeten it up but it was overkill. My boyfriend who doesn’t usually have a problem with sweet refused to finish the drink in one sitting because of how sweet it was. Better luck next time.

Ordered milk tea with pearls here. It was too sweet, not enough tea flavor. Pearls were not fresh. Other drinks might be better, but not this milk tea. This place also needs better service.

They have really good drinks here. Their milk tea is just right. Not too sweet or too milky like other places. The thing(s) I legitimately hate about this place is: 1) their tapioca balls are never ready 2)they don’t make the tapioca balls when they open AND they stop making their tapioca balls before they even close 3) their customer service is absolutely HORRIBLE. They never greet you or smile at you. Every time I’m about to order they never ask me what I want or even look at me, they just wait until I order and after I’m done they don’t say thank you. When my drink was ready they didn’t even call it out or anything like that. They just left it in the front expecting me to get it – knowing whether or not it was mine… I always feel disrespected whenever I come here.

Came to get my lychee bubble tea like always but they gave me green apple jelly instead of my rainbow jelly. Other than the mess up it was pretty good. I hope they don’t mess up my order again!

I’ve come here for years and their bubble tea has always been pretty good! I get their mocha frapp, avocado or their blended thai tea. I don’t like their original milk tea though, it’s all watery and has no flavor. But their other drinks are delicious! The atmosphere is really chill, I used to come in and do some homework once in a while because it’s not too loud and there’s a lot of space. But the reason I give it only 3 stars is because of their customer service. The girls that work there are never smiling and they didn’t even greet me when I came in. I came over to order and the girl didn’t even look up at me, she just grabbed her pen and paper and waited for me to list off what I wanted. Not even a hello or what can I get you. It was extremely rude and they always seem to have an attitude. I thought maybe they were just having a bad day or something but it kept happening even when I came with other people. But let me say that the manager is really nice and the other guy is nice. But the girls literally need to learn some manners and what the definition of customer service is. It’s very unprofessional.

The great thing about Karma Café is that staff here are friendly and the café has wifi. I’m used to Mojo Crepes and the first thing I noticed was the gloomy ambiance. When I visited, the lighting was dim and the café was very quiet. No one playing board games or interacting with each other. They do have couches and table seating, however we weren’t propelled to stay for very long. I ordered the papaya milk tea with mango jellies, the lychee boba tea with tapioca pearls, and the honeydew milk tea with popping boba. The sealed caps were quite cute. I am a sucker for cute packaging. Anyway, taste wise I feel like the boba tea here is decent, but not anything to go nuts over

By George! You could say that Karma Café is a chameleon, inauspiciously tucked away on 82nd. I indulged in several different bubble milk teas – almond was my favorite, but they were all balanced with the correct amount of flavor. And they have Vietnamese Coffee! Just be absolutely sure to specify hot or cold – they won’t ask, so you must tell. Great little hang out nooks with wi-fi and dumpy plush furniture.

This is a good place if you need to kill a few hours. They have a lot of seating areas and Wifi. The place is never crowded and it is quiet. The bubble tea is also very good. They have a lot of different drinks and I have been stopping by here for years. Parking on weekends can be difficult to find sometimes but spots open up pretty quickly.

This place looks pretty nice. They have boba tea in an assortment of flavors, fruit blended stuff, and also coffee stuff. So Tea? Coffee? All good here. I had a smoothie and it was pretty good, no complaints. The place looks pretty nice and is pretty spacious. Plenty of room to sit around and relax with a good drink.

Finding parking in the lot was a pain! Its a small parking lot, and there are several restaurants(all asian) and other businesses in the square. I was lucky and found a spot, but I saw some enter the lot, circle, and then park outside on the street. Bubble tea spots get my respect — especially when you can get lychee, coconut, and boba all in your drink! This place has a lot of options, but not too much that the selection becomes overwhelming. I got a Green Tea Blended(Non-Dairy) with Boba and Lychee, only regret is that I wished i got the large. I gulped that down so hard, so fast, it was that good. The Green Tea flavor was floral tasting which I like, but was expecting the more roasty matcha type. I’d definitely come back.
