Tasha has been cutting my hair for years, and I would never even consider going to see anyone else. Through asking questions like how much effort I want to put into styling my hair, she’s always able to help guide me to the perfect cut. She knows my hair well and knows what works for it. I followed her over from 02 salon, I must say I love her new place of business, it is super cute and welcoming.

Tasha has been my hairstylist for 3 years. Since she’s recently joined the Kutz team I’m not only excited to have my hair done but I’m excited to spend time in the salon. I always look forward to being immersed in the lively, inspiring and welcoming vibe the ladies at Kutz create.
Tasha is a master of her craft. Not only is she confident and consistent in her color and cut technique but she understands how to interpret requests in order to create a style that compliments the individuality of each client, proving her ability as an advanced stylist and her dedication to her client. From the beginning she has built a relationship of trust and authenticity with me.
Since I spend several hours in the chair at Kutz I’m also fortunate enough to watch Kitty and Megan create beautiful and innovative hairstyles. I’m proud to be a client here as I always feel invigorated and confident when I leave. I’m excited to tell the people who compliment my hair where I go and who I see. I am newly in love with Kutz! My super awesome regular stylist moved from another salon and I am so glad I got to discover this hidden gem. It’s tucked away on Pleasant St (the name is very accurate) and the vibe in this place is awesome — super cool but also cozy, you feel like you’re right at home. The ladies are all so friendly and welcoming. And, big plus, I got the best haircut of my freaking life from Tasha, so if you’re looking for someone to do your hair who can take your inspiration and make it into an incredible reality, look no further!

I have loved the large spa/​salon experience for most of my adult life… but Kutz is my new favorite place. The intimacy and friendliness of this place reminds me of truvy’s hair sop in steel magnolias, only with a funky authentic portland flair. There’s no pretentious vibe and each of the stylists are encouraged to be themselves rather than conforming to a salon brand image. I love it here and so grateful that Tasha moved to such a cool place. Go see Tasha for amazing color and cuts and enjoy the atmosphere.
