Lazo Tax Service

We needed a new tax preparer/​CPA since we moved from Iowa to Oregon so asked friends and they recommended Lazo Tax prep. We called somewhat late in the season so had to wait a week or so for an appointment. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and professional.
This is a family-​run place and it is situated across from Saylor’s Country Kitchen on Stark Street. They have their own parking lot, which is convenient. Walking into the office I appreciated the comfortable environment with its own resident dog. His name is Wesley and he is super cute and friendly, just the right thing to put you at ease.
Mihaela prepared our tax returns for us and she was conscientious, efficient, and friendly. I like how she explained our return and was able to answer our questions. The prices were higher than we paid in Iowa, but that seems to hold true for almost everything in Oregon. I guess that is the trade-​off for living in this awesome city!
