This is my favorite pizza place in Portland Maine hands down. My wife sometimes even craves Leonardo’s, which is kind of a big deal cause she doesn’t like pizza. Their veggie pizzas are amazingly satisfying, and the meatlover pizza is sooooo good. This place is just pizza done right. They are pricy, but totally worth it.

I like pizza, but I love Leonardo’s. I live 1.5h to the closest store. Still, it is a mandatory stop for my car if I am in Portland OR Burlington. The gorgonzola gourmet is my favorite, but many are a close second, and their lunch special is a steal! Go there and enjoy!

Great service, lunch deal was two slices and a drink for 3.50. Benches inside of the store were perfect for two to eat and go.

Gluten Free dough is so good you would never guess. Four cheese fusion is to die for. Most importantly, they’re consistency is impressive. I’ve NEVER had a pizza from these guys that wasn’t amazingly good.

The pizza is fine — but hopefully that’s ALL you want because the other thing — what, chicken tenders? — are horrible. I’d say more but that pretty much sums it up. Oh! The online order and nice delivery folks are a plus. But still — just fine pizza, nothing to write home about.

I did not enjoy the crust. We got the regular crust and it was very chewy, like Papa John’s. Also, the sauce wasn’t the best. For my taste, it was too acidic, not enough sweetness. I got the vegetarian pizza and the veggies were very fresh.

We visited Portland for the first time in February 2015– we fell in love with the city and we were excited for all of the vegan options available to us. We ordered Leonardo’s for delivery to our hotel. We had the Vegan Salvation pizza and it was loaded with spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, onions and Daiya cheese. We opted out of the black olives. It arrived quickly and was extremely hot and fresh which was awesome being as it was snowing and zeros below outside! Highly recommend!

A friend of mine stopped by and picked up a Vegan Salvation pizza. The total was about $ 14 for a medium sized pie. While I am not the biggest fan of their pizza, I had to say that the Vegan Salvation Pizza was the best vegan pizza I have every had. Though dough, which is more dense than I would traditionally prefer on a pizza, worked perfectly to support the hefty variety of vegetables and vegan cheese. The flavor was great and most importantly I felt full after eating it(something that doesn’t often happen for me after eating vegan ‘zaa). While the price was a little more than expected, for a delicious slice of vegan pie(and no need for a guilt induced trip to the gym the following day), I am more than ready to stop in again!

Just don’t do it. I won’t eat there. It’s stupid close to my house as well. After seeing multiple drivers knuckle deep in their nose I have no desire. Can’t unsee it.

Leonardo’s is my first choice for pizza delivery. They make a good gluten free crust that holds up during delivery, which is always fast! They have a nice selection of specialty pies — I like the Exotic Greek Island and the Roasted Maine Potato. If you want to design your own pizza, they have plenty of options so you can create your perfect pie. Tonight I had a pizza with feta and artichokes on a gluten free crust. So good! They are generous with the toppings AND they don’t charge extra for artichoke hearts. I’ve seen some places charge extra for toppings like artichokes, sun dried tomatoes and roasted red peppers.(They do charge extra for goat cheese and vegan cheese.) I’m happy that they carry coca-cola products. I’ve mostly kicked my soda habit but sometimes with pizza I really want a soda and my soda of choice is a nice cold coke. They have a great online ordering system and the employees who deliver are always really nice.

If I was a mutant turtle from the sewers this is the first place I’d come to get my pizza. Cowabunga dude! It was 5:45pm 45 minutes till kick off on Super bowl Sunday go Pats! I drove in and the location is small, there’s no eating there. It’s either take out delivery only. I figure I’d order and wait but from the four people in front of me I heard it was a 30 minute wait. «Ain’t Nobody got time phở dat» so I took my clan back home and Called in for delivery. Dude on the phone was cool. We joked since he magically knew my number(caller id). I ordered the Molly’s chicken mushroom carbonara, get you some of that! You can thank me later while you polish of that pie. Alfredo sauce, fresh chopped garlic(no first date meal, I’m assuming you’re classy enough not to take your first date to a pizza joint that’s not eat in), cheddah, mozza, parma cheez oh my, sliced mushroom and red onions, smoked bacon, marinated chicken. Not greasy at all. Perfect balance. Bacon was crispy and small, chicken was delicious and the toppings stayed on the sliced. I also ordered wings for me and tenders for the wife. I got the Thai and tradition wings bone in. I don’t care for meat without the bones. If you know me you know I love wings and I order wings every where I go. They aren’t your typical frozen small wings. They’re big and juicy. You can tell they’re fresh but the flavors weren’t my favorite. Traditional was bland and the Thai ones were kinda to much peanut tasting for me. The big surprise were the buffalo tenders. I’m not a fan of them in general. I don’t really care for buffalo sauce or chicken without the bone. But these, these were different. The sauce was tangy and not saucy like dripping all over my hands like most places. The chicken tenders weren’t full pieces of tenders in a thick batter like most chain restaurants but perfect nugget sizes morsels made from real chicken in a panko crusted coating. I’m drooling like homer as I write this. Delivery time: 30 minutes as they stated. That is amazing since it was right before super bowl k kick off. Customer service: 4 star, great personality, the driver and order taker. Location: Forest ave, no eat in parking available Would I go back: heck yeah and I’ll get more tenders and try other flavors. I’m pretty excited. Price: kinda spend for a large pie but worth it. I had a 50% of coupon for it. Order 3 single(1lb) orders of chicken wing/tender. $ 33 bucks. That’s affordable. Without the coupon it would of been $ 42.

Far and away my favorite lunch place for quick pizza. Under 4 bucks for two slices and a soda… YES please! I have not been disappointed by a specialty pie that I have tried yet. Most recent was a take on a bacon cheeseburger and it was amazing! I think they use cheddar/mozz combo which is what I do at home so I clearly like it that way! Even the cheese or pepperoni is pretty darn solid due to good crust and nice sauce. I’ll be back for sure!

Discovered Leonardo’s at «Harvest on the Harbor» food event in Portland, and I“m very glad I did! Tried their gorgonzola pizza, which off the top of my head is gorgonzola(obv), tomatoes, artichoke hearts, loads of garlic, and something green maybe? Anyway, it’s delicious! Leonardo’s is not artisan«wood-fired» pizza and I doubt they use the highest quality ingredients, but they are far better than a standard Pizza Hut or Dominos. The best part? Their online ordering system. SO easy to use and efficient. You can totally customize your pizza judgement free with the click of a button. and they actually don’t screw it up! Delivery is FAST, like, wicked fast. Has the delivery options of a chain, the fantastic online-ordering system, and is actually really good pizza. How can you beat that?

Pizza can be difficult to review. Everyone has favorite styles, toppings, and sauces. While I love Leonardo’s pizza, I do have friends that don’t. But this joint starts racking up stars cause of speed, variety, being local, and great service. One night I was having a birthday drinking binge. I have long left portland, but was craving pizza. I called up begging for them to deliver well past their delivery zone cause it was my bday. The fkrs did it!!! It was great! This topped my night off; left a $ 20 tip. Everyone has a favorite pizza place. If Leonardo’s becomes that place, you will be one happy pizza eater. Yum yum yum.

Not to brag, but being from Chicago, I know pizza. And this place knows how to serve up a pie. I’ve had quite a few of their specialty pizzas over the last year, and they’re all legit. You really cannot go wrong. Leonardo’s does not skimp on toppings, and their wheat crust makes my indulgences a little less guilty. I’ve also had their wings, and man, are they meaty and coated with the perfect amount of sauce. I’ve also had all variations of their breadsticks, and they’re a great addition to any meal. The place also has great delivery. The late hours make this place perfect for some food after the bars or for some food while cramming before an exam. I live on the Westbrook side of Portland, and this place still delivers fast, even on the weekends. Plus, the drivers are never in a grumpy mood. Bottom Line: If you want some great pizza(or other stuff) delivered to you, order here. Tip: Leonardo’s has a mobile app. And as of now, your first order under $ 50 is 50% off.

I use to live in nyc and we just ordered molly’ chicken mushroom carbonara, and cheesy garlic bread. It was really really good. We are very happy we can still get good pizza here in Portland. We definitely are ordering from here again. Very pleased with the speedy delivery as well. The pizza was around 19 but you get a lot for your money especially with the bread sticks. Very impressed.

Leonardo’s is by far my favorite pizza in Portland, delivery and eat-in. I’ve never had one disappointing bite of pie. Their veggie works is my number one, and not because I’m a veggie fiend, but because the amount of toppings is massive! Toppings always seem to be forgotten if there are more than two at other companies, but Leonardos far exceeds any pizza expectation. When I ask for thin crust, I GET a perfect thin crust, light cheese on one side? You got it. Never had a mistake made, nor had to wait more than 20 min for delivery(and that was prime time on a Saturday night!). Their mobile app is extremely easy to use and I’ve never had an order messed up in digital traslation. After my first online order the even delivered a «welcome to the neighborhood» coupon for a free large pizza of my choice, delivery or eat-in. At this point, I’d even consider catering my wedding with Leonardo’s Pizza.

Leonardo’s is my favorite pizza delivery in Portland, and they’re not getting enough love here on Unilocal. They’re a pizza frankenstein created from all of the best parts of Otto, Flatbread and Dominos. –They deliver fast. I don’t know if I’ve ever waited even half an hour. Take that Otto and your hour long wait. They’re also open until at least 2 am on weekends. –They mail coupons to your house that are legit good deals, such as 50% off. –You can order online. –The pizza is great! The regular crust is a bit too thick for me, but the thin is perfect. It’s not wafer thin like dominos(which tastes like passover matzah with cheese) but the perfect depth to hold the toppings. The Gorgonzola Gourmet may be my favorite pizza in all of Portland. Finally, they have sides, and they’re awesome. The baked wings are some of the best you can get delivered, and don’t sit like greasy bricks afterwards. The tenders are grilled and healthier, but dry and bland. The cheesy bread is fantastically artery clogging. Leonardo’s takes Dominos quick delivery, late hours and easy online ordering and combines it with the upscale, fun pizzas of Ottos. Get on the mailing list, order some thin crust, and support a(mostly) local business.

I want to like Leonardo’s more than I do. I’ve now had both the Gorgonzola Gourmet and the Four Cheese Fusion. The GG is made from an olive oil and garlic sauce, a blend of cheddar, mozzarella, and gorgonzola cheeses, spinach, plum tomatoes, and marinated artichokes. The FCF is made from an olive oil and garlic sauce, a blend of cheddar, mozzarella, gorgonzola, and parmesan cheeses, spinach, and plum tomatoes. Did your eyes blur just then because it seemed like you were reading the same sentence twice? You almost were — there’s very little difference between the two. And, unfortunately, both of them seemed a little greasy to me(as in, I dabbed the top of each ‘za with a paper towel to decrease the oil present… maybe they put too much olive oil-garlic sauce on these?). I’m not one to not finish a piece of pizza, but… the last slice I had I ended up passing off to the boyo for him to eat. Sad? Yes. And I hate writing this, because there’s so much I LOVVVVVVE about Leonardo’s. I love their location(because it’s über convenient to where I live right now) and that they deliver; but mostly, I’m madly in love with their staff. I have never met a Leonardo’s employee that wasn’t — for lack of a better term — f’awesome(freaking awesome, that is). They’re polite, they’re informed, they’re kind, they’re engaging. Recently, an older gentleman was working the«Taste of Maine» on the USM campus and he was SONICE I had to restrain myself from leaning over the counter and giving him a hug. Weird? Maybe. I will absolutely order from them again. How could I not? They’re geographically close to me, they’ve got rockstar customer service(from what I’ve experienced), and they’re local. And I refuse to give my money to any pizza joint that’s a corporation(it’s a personal rule that I apply to my life regardless of whatever city I’m in). Besides, I’m still dying to try their Goat Honey Pie(olive oil garlic sauce, a blend of cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, red onion, mushrooms, thyme, goat cheese [#mandoilovemesomegoatcheese], and honey), and word on the street is that a vegan pie with Thai peanut sauce and soy cheese is de-lish. Hungry? Am now!
