I started going to Caring Hands after a particularly fierce episode with back issues(I injured my lower back in college) sent me to the emergency room twice in a week(exploratory back surgery? Thanks, but no…) and caused me to miss several weeks of work. I could barely walk when I first went in and was in intense pain and depressed, resigning myself to a life of chronic pain and limited mobility. Dr. O. changed all that. Within about 2 months of weekly treatment, I was feeling great. That was six-plus years ago and now, with regular maintenance visits(every three or four weeks), I’m pain free, super active again — hiking, hitting the gym, riding bikes, etc. — and all the mental anguish evaporated. I’ve been using chiropractors for maybe 20 years now and this is the first time I feel really confident that my back won’t go out at a moment’s notice. She’s a lifesaver and a talented, caring practitioner. Can’t recommend her highly enough. The fact that the office is located downtown close to my work, with a great view of the river, doesn’t hurt either.
