Martin’s Point Health Care

They are very organized and had all my health records over 29 years in their computer system ready when I went in for my first appointment. They were all very professional, the building and facilities were clean and I felt very comfortable. Their online file management system is also very useful. I would highly recommend.

Thus far my experiences are good. There is a feeling of being in a medical mill to me. A bank of receptionists to check in, BUT no waiting and then zippidy do da you’re off to your appt waiting area.
Very quickly a nurse fetches and you’re in the exam room.
After treatment, the check out is super speedy and easy, and zip you’re back in the car.
My doc is AMAZING. I love this young man. He’s in it for the long haul.

I think Martins Point Health care provides some great care. They have recently opened a brand new clinic with some great views of Mackworth island and Casco Bay. The doctors are very friendly, the nurses and MA’s strive to put patients at ease. The front desk and answering service folks try there best to get an appointment for you day of if you have come down with something or if you have time restrictions try to make it work. They have a lab, pharmacy, and x-​ray department on site. A large parking garage so no snow on you’re car when you are at the doctors. I find them very convenient and a very accessible.

I had to get my immunizations done for school and I was referred here! It’s a pretty big building out by the water, and even though the reception isn’t as personable as it could be, what else would you expect from such a large building?
Everything was done quickly and efficiently, and there are a few different waiting areas that are very clean and brightly lit. My nurse came out right on time and was really friendly. We struck up a conversation and the same thing happened with my nurse practitioner. I got a few shots and another kind lady came in to hold my hand too! There is also a lab and pharmacy in the building so it’s really a one-​stop shop.
Basically, everyone was very friendly. Everything was thorough and I would be glad to come back (even though I hopefully won’t have to).

If you want to be just another number in a giant health care practice, Martin’s Point will be a perfect place! Unresponsive, take days to refill prescription, see a doctor in three weeks, consider yourself lucky if you get a return call.
Doc Couper may be a great doc. I just have a tough time getting to see him
