I recently purchased an adjustable base with Rob waters at the 122nd location. Rob is a professional! Not only is he very knowledgeable about what he’s selling but most importantly he doesn’t push to make a sale. He lets his customers know that he has beds and adjustable bases of all price ranges to accommodate your budget. I watched Rob help a couple other customers while I visited his store. I love that he genuinely wants his customers to be happy with their purchase. Rob sold me an adjustable base with Bluetooth hoop up, vibrating message, head to foot elevation, toped off with a kick ass warranty for a very reasonable price! Visit Rob next time your in the market for a new bed, you won’t be sorry. Thanks Rob, you rock!

Started my mattress shopping this morning by reviewing Unilocal reviews. I dismissed the highest reviewed store due to a previous experience and them not being able to answer their phone today while they were open. I went to the 2nd choice on my list, Mattress World on Glisan and 122nd. I forgot that I had bought a bed set from them for my niece when she moved to PDX and needed furniture. At my previous visit I remembered that Robert assisted me and had done an excellent job of fining me an affordable floor model for my niece. He was there again today for my own mattress purchase and he definitely hooked us up! He showed us the difference in the construction of models, directed us to 5 models in our price range and for the type of mattress we were looking for. The mattress also has a 15 year warranty(certain rules apply of course) We found exactly what we were looking for, a quality mattress, our comfort level, in our price range, with a warranty. Please go see Robert, tell him MAGS sent you. He even remembered my name from my previous visit. :-) Thank you Robert!

My husband and i called around looking for a new mattress we decided to go to mattress world Robert sounded helpful and not pushy over the phone. We came in 30 min before closing and was greeted right away and he let us do our thing. We found the perfect mattress and Robert was great, was a very comfortable experience. We got our mattress and love it, we decided to get a new bed frame and dressers. We knew mattress world didn’t have the one we wanted in the store and would need to order it but we wanted to continue to do business with them, we new it would be worth the wait. I called Robert and told him what we were looking for. He took the time to look for a couple we would like and had all ready for us when we came in. Such a good experience. We have told every one to go see Robert he is a great. We are customers for life.

Came in and was quickly greeted by Robert. He was helping someone, and wasn’t able to come over immediately. When he did, I explained what I was looking for and my price limits. He showed me a few different items before I settled on one, but the entire time, I didn’t feel rushed or pressured. Very comfortable experience.

Andy was great. Stopped in while waiting for my son’s haircut. Not only was Andy great with my rambunctious toddler, he steered us towards a great mattress. Most appreciated was how he didn’t automatically try to sell us the most expensive one they had. Delivery was on time the next day(Saturday) and the drivers were professional and courteous. They even came back when I said«oops, I need you to lift up this new mattress so I can put the dust ruffle on.» Andy rocks and I feel like I got a very reasonable price on a good mattress.

A breakup required a new bed. This was a bit of a downer, since my bedroom set and mattress had been very spendy-and I didn’t have that to spend this time. Also kind of a downer, my ex took much longer to come get his things than expected-so my bed sat-unopened for 90 days. I was pretty sure the salesman had said I had 180 days to return the bed. I started to call the company about returning the bed after 45 days, since I wasn’t able to set up the bed and get my trial period. I left message after message, and never received a return call. It didn’t matter what time of day I called, the phone was never answered. I kept meaning to stop by, but never got a chance-not that a phone call shouldn’t have covered it. Finally, my ex came to get his giant bed. I immediately set up my bed, to start experiencing horrible pain, almost to the point of tears. My neck was kinked for two weeks, back contorted in pain. I quickly decided it was the mattress, and continued trying to call the company-no luck. Finally, after 109 days, I reached someone, who told me even though the salesman told me I had 180 days to try the bed, it was really 101 days, and I was just past that. They said the salesman I’d dealt with was no longer with the company, and they weren’t surprised he hadn’t returned my calls. A manager called me and attempted to fix the problem, by saying I could bring the bed in and ‘trade’ it for another bed of the same price range, but not get my money back. While I appreciate the gesture, I had tried all the beds there, and not been impressed with anything in that price range. I told him I’d consider it. I called the manager back 10 minutes later, to be told he would return my call-and he never did. He did tell me that their phone number is listed incorrectly on Google, so maybe that’s why my calls weren’t getting through(however, I called both the Google phone number and the one on my receipt, which is the one I reached someone on that day.) In the end, I spent $ 150 on a mattress topper from Costco which immediately cleared up my problem. And it’s a shame that it sits on such a slightly expensive piece of trash. I know an $ 800 mattress isn’t an expensive mattress, but the mattress topper on a table would probably have a better effect. Edit: After writing this review, Gary, the manager-did call me back and offer to pick up the old bed and deliver the new one himself if I wanted an exchange. I told him I appreciated the offer but was happy with my Costco Memory Foam Topper and didn’t care what mattress was below it. Since he says I «was dishonest» on my Unilocal review, I must disclose that while the bed was $ 800, I only paid about $ 400 for it due to a Groupon. I still don’t really feel that was relevant to the review since had I not had a Groupon it would have cost me $ 800. Also after this review, one of his bosses sent me a Unilocal message attempting to remedy the problem and do something that made me a happy customer because he saw it on Unilocal.So, kudos for paying attention to what people are saying about your company. After some deliberation, I am bumping this to two stars because they did attempt to remedy the problem-even if it took a Unilocal review to do so. Costco Memory Foam Mattress Topper: 6 stars. :)
