The light rail stop at 5th Avenue & Oak Street is definetly above average for Portland. It has lots of food carts near it and also a little bit of seating. Both the green and yellow lines go here, which is good, but some stops have three lines, so they should try a little harder. This is a stop for people going in the direction of Portland State University.
I’ve been here several times. Waiting is usually pleasant, especially since there is art across the street. Occasionally, there are mentally ill people, but they aren’t usually too loud. Also, lots of buses go here, so you can really go places with this station.
